Do I need a building permit?

Building permits are required for most construction in the
City of Green River. The best way to find out if you need a permit is to call the
Development Services Department at 307-872-6140.  The staff is there to assist the public.

A Building Permit is generally not required for items such as wallpapering, painting or similar finish work, carpet or flooring replacement, and replacement or repair of existing fixtures.  Note however, that adding new fixtures does require a permit.
