Blain J Kennah, age 32, of Green River was arrested on 1/29/13 at 3:12 pm on S 2nd E on a warrant out of District Court Failure to Appear on the original charge of Failure to Pay Child Support. Kennah was located at his residence and taken into custody without incident.
Marissa D Duran, age 22, of Green River, was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Use of Marijuana on 1/29/13 at 5:49 pm on N 8th W. Officers were advised by a third party of the odor of marijuana emitting from an apartment on N 8th W. Officer knocked on the apartment door and it was answered by a female. The officer immediately smelled the odor of burnt marijuana and after subsequent investigation Duran was cited for the violations.
Officer took a Credit Card Fraud report on E 2nd N when the victim advised someone was using his ATM card to make unauthorized cash withdrawals and to charge merchandise amounting to over $1300. The charges and withdrawals were all made in California. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on N 2nd W with an 82 year old female suffering from a nose bleed that would not stop.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel Monroe Street with a student who had a school ring removed from his swollen finger by ambulance personnel.
Officers responded to an open door report on Park View Drive; the residence was checked and all appeared to normal.
Officers found a vehicle with an opened door on E Flaming Gorge Way; the owner was contacted and advised.
Officers found a gate opened at the storage units on Astle Ave; the units were checked and the gate was locked.
Two vehicles were tagged as abandoned on S 3rd E.
