Lyndsey R Graham, age 24, of Green River was arrested on 1/18/13 at 02:59 pm on Jensen Street at Astle Ave for Driving While Suspended and Possession of Controlled Substances, methamphetamine and heroin. Graham was stopped for a traffic violation and subsequent investigation showed she was in possession of the controlled substances. Graham was taken into custody and transported to jail where a search showed she was in possession of prescription medication and a pipe used to smoke controlled substances.
Jonathan P Pharr, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 1/19/13 at 12:00 am on Railroad Street. Officers responded to E Railroad Street regarding a subject removal from a local bar. Pharr was contacted outside the bar and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated. Pharr was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Calie Jo Kappel, age 35, of Green River was arrested on 1/20/13 at 01:05 am on Cedar Street for Domestic Battery. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance complaint on Cedar Street. Further investigation showed Kappel had assaulted three family members and she was taken into custody and transported to jail.
A Juvenile problem was reported on Mountain View Drive when a parent found his son to be using his mother’s prescription medication. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Olivia Alvarado, age 47, of Green River and Ashley Villegas, age 18 of Green River were cited for Permitting a House Party with Minors Present. Officers responded to a Disturbing the Peace complaint on S Wagonwheel Drive. Subsequent investigation showed juveniles were present at a house party where alcohol was being served. The residence owner and her granddaughter were cited.
Runaway reports were taken on Wilderness Trail and Pennsylvania Blvd when the parents of a 14 year old male and a 15 year old female were missing from their respective homes. The juveniles later returned to their respective homes.
Officers investigated a crash on E Flaming Gorge Way when a pickup truck driven by a 16 year old male struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Charles Hayden. No injuries were reported and damge to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each.
Officers were called to an address on Colorado Drive regarding a despondent female who was transported to Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
Juan Luna of Hyrum Utah reported losing his HTC Rezound cell phone valued at $650 somewhere in Green River. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a crash on E Teton Blvd when a car driven by Rodney Hill struck a parked car and a fence at 1485 E Teton that are owned by Donald Robinson. The impact pushed the Robinson’s car into the garage door at his residence causing further damage. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. Damage to the fence and garage door was not estimated at this time. Hill was cited for Careless Driving.
Officers assisted Evanston PD with an attempt to locate a desponded female who was reportedly in Green River. The female returned home to Evanston and did not harm herself.
Officers took an attempted Fraud report on Hoover Drive when the victim advised she inadvertently downloaded a virus to her computer. The victim’s computer screen is frozen with a message advising the FBI froze the screen for downloading illegal material. This is a scam and the investigation is ongoing.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel with a male subject in his fifties suffering from shortness of breath and a racing heartbeat. Subject was transported to the hospital.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing clients’ drug test on Commerce Way.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on E 5th S with a 49 year old male who was a possibly suffering from a stroke.
Two dogs at large on E Teton Blvd were impounded by Animal Control Officers.
