An attempted Fraud report was taken on E 2nd N when the victim’s son reported his mother received a notification by mail that she had won $255,000. There was a check in the envelope for $4685 with instructions to cash the check to cover processing fees. A computer check showed it was a scam and no monetary loss was incurred by the victim. The Green River Police Department would like to remind our citizens there are many scams and frauds going around and if something sounds too good to be true it is likely a fraud.
James Davis, age 57, of Green River was issued a Nuisance Property citation on 12/11/12 on New Hampshire Street. Davis was given a warning on 10/23/12 to clean up the property.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on California Drive with an 81 year old female who was found on the floor of her residence; the subject was conscious but incoherent.
Animal Control Officers responded to a complaint of a dog at large on W Flaming Gorge Way; the dog was returned and the owner was warned.
