On 11/14/12, officers were notified by US Postal Service personnel of a subject not collecting his mail in his mail box at his residence since the end of September. A welfare check was initiated at the residence and the body of the sole occupant of the residence was located within the residence. The Green River Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the subject’s death.
Officers investigated a report of Identity Theft when the victim advised he learned someone has used his social security number to file their taxes last year. The victim advised the IRS needed a police report for their records.
