Christopher L Carson, age 53, of Green River was arrested on 9/12/12 at 5:05 pm on Monroe Ave for Aggravated Assault and Battery, Interference with a Police Officer and Disturbing the Peace. Officers were dispatched to a report of a fight in progress and upon arrival found Carson chasing another man, attempting to strike him with a piece of wood. Officers attempted to arrest Carson and he resisted. Witnesses advised Carson threw a large rock at the same man he was chasing with the stick because he interfered with Carson assaulting an elderly man.

Officers investigated a crash at the Smith’s Food parking lot when a vehicle driven by Terry McDaniel backed into a parked SUV owned by Curg Murray. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles and no injuries were reported.

Officers took a report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus on Hitching Post Drive when a white pickup truck passed the bus while the lights were on and the stop sign was displayed.

Officers took a report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus on Knotty Pine Street at Easy Street when a green Kia Soul drove past the bus while its lights were on and the stop sign was displayed.

Officers received a Council Action request for Abatement of Nuisance Property for a business on located on Bridger Drive. The store manager was contacted and a warning was issued.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents on Commerce Way by witnessing client’s drug tests.

Officers responded to a fire alarm on Wild Horse Canyon Road; workers accidently tripped the alarm.

Animal Control officers impounded a stray cat on Barnhart Street.

Officers responded to a request for a welfare check on California Drive, the subject was contacted and she was fine.
