Byron Tucker, age 47, of Green River was arrested on 8/17/12 at 10:40 pm on Barnhart Street for Domestic Battery. Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress on Shoshone Ave and upon arrival spoke with the victim who advised she was punched on the face by her boyfriend, Tucker. Witnesses confirmed the victim’s allegation and Tucker was found walking on Barnhart Street at Logan Street. Tucker advised officers he had just pushed the victim. Tucker was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers investigated a report of Criminal Entry on Colorado Drive when the victim advised someone entered his unlocked pickup truck and rifled through the center console and glove box. The victim stated nothing appeared to be missing and just wanted to report the incident.

Officers investigated a report of Identity Theft on Evers Street when the victim advised someone used his name and social security number to open an account with Sprint Communications and ran up a bill for over $2800. The report was forwarded to the investigation division for follow up investigation.

Officers investigated a Fraud report on Uinta Drive when the victim advised she received a phone call from a purported representative of Cash Advance USA advising her she owed 499.99 on her loan and would be contacted by police if she didn’t pay the money back. The victim did as she was instructed and after getting a Green Dot Money Pak card and giving the information to the caller she realized it might be a scam.

Officers investigated a Larceny report when the victim advised she suspected two juvenile males of stealing her IPod from her purse. The juveniles were questioned and the IPod was recovered. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office and Juvenile Probation for review.

Officers investigated a Vicious Animal reports involving three Pit bull dogs a attacking other dogs on Maryland Drive and also on E Teton Blvd at California Drive. The dog’s owner was contacted and the dogs were impounded. Animal Control Officers were assigned to follow up on the incidents.

Officers investigated a crash at the municipal parking area on Railroad Ave when an unoccupied pickup truck owned by Garret Olson rolled into a parked car owned by Gary Delgado. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each. Olson was cited for Insufficient Parking Break.

Officers investigated a crash on E 2nd S when a van driven by James M Uhls struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Dakota Flammang. No injuries were reported and damages to both vehicles were estimated at under $1000 each. Uhls was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers investigated a crash at the McDonald’s Restaurant drive through when a truck driven by a 16 year old male struck a post causing extensive damage to the driver’s side of the truck. No injuries were reported and the juvenile was cited for No Driver’s License and Inattentive Driving.

Officers were dispatched to Monroe Ave regarding a Disturbing the Peace complaint when the victim advised a neighbor was intoxicated and screaming in the street. Officers attempted to contact the suspect but no one answered the door.

A Harassment report was taken on Colorado Drive involving juveniles wanting to fight each other. Parents were contacted and advised.

A Trespass complaint was taken on Bridger Drive when the manager of a business requested a trespass warning be issued to an individual for the store. Officers attempted to contact the suspect without success.

Officers were dispatched to Monroe Ave regarding a Fraud report. The victim advised he was on a website and his computer went blank and then a warning appeared on his computer advising it was locked by the FBI for looking a prohibited material. Officers advised the victim that the FBI does not lock people’s computers and his computer has probably been infected by a virus.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a skunk in a trap on Uinta Drive.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dead squirrel on Upland Way.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Singletree Drive with a 77 year old male complaining of chest pains.

Animal Control Officers impound a stray kitten reported on Mississippi Drive.
