William G Reeves, age 40, of Green River was arrested on 8/15/12 at 4:22 pm on Commerce Way on a warrant out of Laramie County for Failure To Appear. Officers were dispatched to adult Probation and Parole regarding a client with an outstanding arrest warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Reeves was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Alyssa M Allen, age 20, of Rock Springs was arrested on 8/16/12 at 01:02 am on Bridger Drive for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle and a car matching the description was located at Bridger Loaf and Jug. Officers contacted the occupants of the car and Allen was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. Allen was transported to jail and a breath test showed her blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.

Erik V Flaten, age 21, of Green River was arrested on 8/16/12 at 02:32 am on E 2nd N for Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call; officers attempted to contact Flaten and he tried to flee on foot from officers. Officers stopped Flaten and subsequent investigation showed Flaten to be intoxicated; he was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers investigated a Property Damage report on E 2nd N when several large flower pots were damaged near the clock tower by the County museum. The damage was estimated in excess of $1000. Anyone one with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a crash at the Expedition Island parking lot when a SUV driven by Nathan Surbeck struck a parked SUV owned by Yvonne Kelley. Damage to the Surbeck vehicle was estimated at under $1000 and the Kelley vehicle over $1000. No injuries were reported and Surbeck was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers took a report of Malicious Mischief at the County parking lot on W Flaming Gorge Way when the victim advised someone scratched his black Ford Mustang on the passenger side causing damage estimated at over $500.

Animal Control Officers impounded a dog at large on Monroe Ave.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing clients’ drug tests on Commerce Way.

Animal Control Officers responded to a barking dog complaint on Keith Drive; the dogs’ owner was not contacted and a note was left at the residence.

Officers were dispatched to Green River Way regarding a parking complaint; the car was tagged as abandoned.

Officers responded to a report of juveniles jumping off the bridge at Expedition Island; the juveniles were gone when police arrived.

Officers responded to Scotts Bottom Road regarding a civil dispute; two people exchanged words over their respective dogs while they were out for a walk.

Officers assisted Questar Gas personnel with a ruptured pipe line on New Hampshire Street.

Officers were dispatched to a dog at large on Jensen Street; a brindle boxer was impounded.
