Austin D Dimick, age 20 was arrested on 7/18/12 at 02:48 am on E 2nd S for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Suspended. Dimick was stopped for driving without headlights and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated. Dimick was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test showed his blood alcohol concentration was more than three times the legal limit.

A 17 year old male was arrested on a warrant out of District Court for violation of his probation on 7/17/12 at 11:54 am on Monroe Ave.

Officers investigated a report of Disturbing the Peace on Astle Ave when the victim advised there is a generator running through the night at a local storage unit. The unit owner and leaser could not be contacted at the time of the report.

Officers assisted Department of Family Services’ personnel on Monroe Ave with a welfare check; the complaint was unfounded.

Officers took a Malicious Mischief report on W Flaming Gorge Way when the victim advised someone had “keyed” her car.

Officer took a Harassment report on E 2nd N when the victim advised she is receiving unwanted test messages from her ex-boyfriend and he is following her around in his work vehicle. The victim wanted the incidents documented in case the harassment continues.

Officers took a report of a barking dog complaint on Cumorah Way; the dog’s owner could not be contacted and a note was left at the residence regarding the complaint.

Officers responded to a domestic battery on Evers Street; there was evidence of a physical altercation between a mother and daughter and they separated for the night.

Officers witnessed drug tests on clients at Probation and Parole on Commerce Way.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large on Pennsylvania Blvd; the dog was returned to the owner with a warning.

Officers responded to a parking complaint on Cumorah Way; the parties involved were contacted and the problem was resolved.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large on N 5th W; a brown Rottweiler was impounded.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Hitching Post Drive with a female who hurt her ankle while jogging.
