[ARCHIVED] Green River "Movies in the Park" kicks off June 29

The 2012 Green River Movies in the Park series kicks off this Friday with the premiere of Dolphin Tale, a story centered on the friendship between a boy and a dolphin whose tail was lost in a crab trap. Movie begins at 9pm on June 29 at Centennial Park.

Three different movies will be shown for 2012. In addition to the Dolphin Tale being shown on June 29, The Rookie and Puss Boots will also be featured this year. The Rookie will premiere on July 26 at Centennial Park and July 27 at Stratton-Myers Park. Puss Boots will be shown on August 10 at Centennial Park.

Admission is free and open to all. Each movie will began at 9pm and in case of bad weather. the movies will be shown at the Expedition Island Pavilion.
