Steven W Brenneman, age 27, of Green River, was arrested on 6/24/12 at 03:15 am on Railroad Street on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Probation violations on the original charge of Public Intoxication. Officers were conducting a bar check when Brenneman was observed. Officers were aware of an active arrest warrant for Brenneman and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Mark A Mandros, age 51, of Green River was arrested on 6/22/12 at 11:35 pm on Wilderness Trail for Interference with a Police Officer and Possession of Paraphernalia. Officers were dispatched to a Fight in Progress complaint; officers found Mandros on top of Anthony Hodges and punching him on the face. Mandros refused to stop assaulting Hodges and when police tried to stop him he swung at officers and kicked at officers. Mandros was taken into custody and transported to jail. A suspected marijuana pipe was found on Mandros during a search at the jail. Hodges, age 21, was cited for Public Intoxication and he was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
Adam W Benton, age 22, of Lyman Wyoming, was arrested on 6/23/12 at 12:34 am on E Railroad Street for Public Intoxication and Interference with a Police Officer. Officers responded to a disturbance on Railroad Street and found Benton and a woman arguing. Subsequent investigation showed Benton was intoxicated and he became uncooperative; he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
James P Clark, age 22, of Rock Springs was arrested on 6/22/12 at 07:50 am on E Flaming Gorge Way at Hwy 530 on a warrant out of Municipal Court for Contempt of Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor. The officer observed Clark driving his Jeep on the overpass and was aware of an arrest warrant for Clark. The officer confirmed the warrant through dispatch and Clark was stopped and arrested.
Ethan J Morrison, age 24, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 6/24/12 at 08:53 am on Uinta Drive. An officer stopped to assist Morrison who was parked in the south bound driving lane on the Hwy 530 overpass. A driver’s license check showed Morrison’s license to be suspended.
Verlon G Lee, age 25, of Lyman Wyoming was arrested on 6/23/12 at 08:15 pm at Stratton Myer Park for Public Intoxication. Officers contacted Lee while he was engaged in a heated argument with another male. Lee was escorted from the concert and warned not to return to the concert or he would be arrested. Lee was later seen by officers in line to purchase beer and was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Leslie A Vigil, age 20, of Longmont Colorado was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol while at Stratton Meyer Park. Vigil was questioned by officers because she appeared to be underage while consuming alcohol. Vigil did not have an ID on her and when asked how she got a wrist band indentify her as over 21 she said she found the wrist band on Expedition Island earlier that day.
Mitchell E Mooney, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 6/23/12 at 03:26 am on Bridger Drive for Public Intoxication. Mooney was contacted when officers were dispatched to the Bridger Loaf and Jug for an intoxicated male who almost hit a person when he drove into the parking lot. Mooney was not in his truck when contacted and was given the opportunity to leave the area on foot. Mooney returned to the Loaf and Jug after being warned to leave and he was arrested and transported to jail.
A 17 year old male was arrested on 6/23/12 at 10:20 pm at Stratton Meyer Park for Use of Marijuana. The juvenile was observed smoking a marijuana cigarette while at a concert in the park. He was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Tanner M Brown, age 18 of Mountain View Wyoming was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol on 6/24/12 at 12:02 am at Stratton Meyer Park. Brown was observed drinking a beer and not wearing a wrist band identifying him as over 21 years of age. Brown was cited and escorted from the concert.
A 16 year old male was cited for Curfew on 6/24/12 at 02:57 am on E Teton Blvd. He was released to a friend of the family at the request of his parents who were out of town.
Officers investigated a report of a 13 year old male being assaulted by an intoxicated adult on Windriver Drive at Butte Street. The adult male could not be located at the time and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
Officers investigated a report of Burglary on N 4th W when the owner reported someone entered his shed on his rental property. The owner was unsure if anything was taken and the investigation is ongoing.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on Alabama Drive when an unknown vehicle struck a parked tan Ford Bronco owned by Kurt Surbeck causing damage to the driver’s side door estimated at under $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Michael L Leondard, age 38, of Green River was arrested for Disturbing the Peace on 6/24/12 at 04:00 pm. Officers were dispatched to complaint of an intoxicated male threatening a 7 year old female. Leondard was found passed out on his front porch with music blaring. He was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash at the Expedition Island parking lot when the driver of a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII struck a 4x4 post and left the area on foot. The car was impounded and the owner, Christopher Bernal was contacted. Bernal advised his car became disabled on Expedition Island but he didn’t realize he had hit a post. Bernal was cited for Hit and Run.
Officers initiated a welfare check on Gannett Circle regarding a suicidal subject; the victim was contacted and advised she was fine and had not taken any medication.
Officers assisted Green River Fire department personnel with a report of a fire on New Mexico Street.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on South Dakota Street with a 74 year old female suffering from an infection to her leg.
Animal Control Officers investigated a dog bite report of Vermont Court.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large at City Hall; a golden retriever was impounded.
