Officers investigated a report of an Attempted Fraud on W Flaming Gorge Way when the victim advised she received a phone call from a male with an accent advising her she had won a substantial amount of money and an automobile. The caller went on telling the victim she would have to meet an individual in Rock Springs at the Walmart Store and give that person $555.00 and she would receive a stamp of approval and would be eligible to collect her prizes. The victim realized she was being scammed and hung up the phone.

A report of Domestic Battery was investigated on N 1st E when the victim advised she was assaulted by her boyfriend at her apartment. The victim’s injuries and the scene were documented. The suspect left the scene prior to police arriving and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

Officers investigated a report of a Larceny on E Flaming Gorge Way when the driver of a white Hyundai SUV with Montana plates pumped $46 in gas and left without paying.

A set of keys was found at the McDonald’s Restaurant parking lot.

A barking dog complaint was taken on N 5th E; the dog’s owner could not be contacted at the time.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on N 2nd W with a 49 year old male complaining of chest pains.

Two juvenile females were warned for Curfew violations on E Teton Blvd.

Officers responded to a report of a brush fire near LDS seminary building on Upland Way; a GRHS custodian extinguished the fire.

Officers responded to the Hampton Inn regarding a 911 hang up call received by Central Dispatch. Officers learned it was an accidental call made by a juvenile.

Officers responded to a 911 call on Mansface Street and learned it was accidental.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large on Saratoga Drive; a Sharpei type dog was impounded.

A vicious animal complaint was taken on Iowa Street when reporting party advised a dog was getting under a chain link fence and attacking other dogs. The dog owner was contacted and the problem was solved.

Officers responded to a report of gunshots fired on N 3rd W; officers spoke with subjects in the area at the time and the source of the gunshots could not be located by the officers.
