Sandra Lee Smith, age 52, of Green River was arrested on 5/20/12 at 6:50 pm on E Rail Road Street for Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to a trespass complaint at the UPRR yard. Smith was contacted and subsequent investigation showed she was intoxicated. She was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Stephany N Villegas, age 19, of Green River was arrested on 5/19/12 at 01:39 am on Uinta Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Villegas was stopped for a headlight violation and subsequent investigation showed she was intoxicated at the time she was stopped She was also charged with Open Container. A 14 year old passenger in the car was cited for Underage Consumption and Curfew and released to his mother.
Shawn T Seppala, age 21, of Rock Springs Wyoming was arrested on 5/18/12 at 11:23 pm on Uinta Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Seppala was stopped for a headlight violation and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated at the time he was stopped. Seppala also admitted to have smoked marijuana prior to being stopped and agreed to a blood test. He was taken to Memorial Hospital and his blood was drawn by hospital staff. Seppala was then transported to jail. Justin Schumacher, age 21, a passenger was cited for Open Container and Dillon C Karajanis, age 19 was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol.
Thera Siler, age 32, of Green River was arrested on 5/18/12 at 10:30 am on E 4th S on warrants out of Municipal Court for Public Intoxication and Contempt of Court. Officers were aware of warrants for Siler and confirmed the warrants. Siler was contacted, taken into custody and transported to jail.
A 12 year old male and an 11 year old male were detained by store personnel on Uinta Drive for Shoplifting. The youths admitted to the crime and were released to their parents. A report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.
A Burglary report was taken on Schultz Street when the suspect kicked in a door at the victim’s residence on 5/19/12 and taking a bag of clothing. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
Officers investigated a crash at the Maverick Store parking lot when a car driven by a 16 year old female backed into a parked truck owned by Frederick Harris of Middleton Idaho. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported.
Tasha Urbatsch reported a vehicle struck her gray 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck while it was parked at the Castle Rock Ambulance barn on 5/20/12. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
