Cody Forrester, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 4/30/12 at 06:26 hours at the Sweetwater County Jail on a warrant out of Municipal Court for Failure to Pay Fines on the original charge of Hit and Run/ Unattended Property. Forrester turned himself into officers at the Detention Center knowing there was an active warrant for his arrest.
Byron A Taylor, age 35, of Green River was arrested on 4/30/12 at 08:38 hours on Commerce Way on an Arrest and Hold Order from Probation and Parole on the original charge of Aggravated Assault. Taylor was transported to jail without incident.
Camel Olah, age 49, of Rock Springs, was arrested on 4/30/12 at 10:15 hours on Commerce Way for Use of Marijuana and Use of methamphetamine. Officers responded to Probation and Parole offices and witnessed a drug test at Probation and Parole agents’ request. Olah test positive for both methamphetamine and marijuana and he was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.
Amber L Reick, age 32, of Green River, was cited for Passing a School Bus on 4/30/12 at 16:20 hours on Monroe Ave.
A 16 year old female was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol on 4/30/12 at 23:20 hours on Commerce Way. The juvenile was later released to her parent.
Officers responded to a report of a verbal Domestic Dispute on Knotty Pine Street; there were no reports of a physical altercation and the parties were separated for the evening.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a Dog Bite at Truman School. The incident allegedly occurred the previous Thursday and is pending further investigation.
Officers responded to a request of a subject removal from the Maverick Store at management’s request. The subject received a ride and left the area.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Wilderness Trail with an 85 year female who had fallen and injured her back.
Animal Control Officers responded to the campus of Western Wyoming Community College regarding three dogs at large.
Animal Control Officers responded to a residence on Wilson Street regarding a dog with a broken hip.
Officers responded to a parking complaint on Wyoming Drive; the vehicle was tagged and the owner could not be contacted at this time.
Officers responded to a parking complaint on Shoshone Ave; the truck was moved at officer’s request.
Officers responded to the Uinta Loaf and Jug regarding juveniles throwing rocks; the juveniles were contacted and warned.
Officers were dispatched to a Harassment complaint on Clark Street when the victim advised she is receiving harassing text messages from her mother.
Officers were dispatched to Logan Street regarding a welfare check; officers contacted an intoxicated female and a family member was contacted for assistance.
