Officers and ambulance personnel were dispatched to an address on Hillcrest to a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was transported to Sweetwater Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment and evaluation.
Officers investigated a report of a reckless driver on W. Teton Blvd. The reported driver was a member of the ambulance crew responding to the earlier call.
Officers responded to a hang up 911 call on Schultz St. Officers discovered it was a child playing on the phone.
Officers responded to a fire alarm at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center along with Fire Department personnel. It was a false alarm.
Officers investigated a reported hit and run accident at Green River High School. An eye witness to the accident aided officers in identifying Nathan Surbeck, 18 years old of Green River was the driver of 1993 Chevrolet Suburban that collided with a parked car while exiting a parking space in the parking lot. Surbeck received citations for Inattentive Driving and Hit and Run into Green River Municipal Court.
Officers assisted a citizen on Fawn Circle with questions about a civil matter.
Officers responded to a 911 call on Mansface. The call was accidental.
Officers were dispatched to the area of S. 5 E. and E. 2 S. to something disturbing the neighborhood dogs. Officers didn’t find anything suspicious in the area.
Officers were dispatched to Uinta Dr. and the overpass to a traffic complaint. The vehicle was found unoccupied.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Monroe and Hitching Post to a REDDI report. The vehicle wasn’t located.
Officers took a report of a check fraud on W. 2 N. after a citizen found funds missing from his bank account.
Officers were dispatched to a 911 call on Barnhart St. The call was accidental.
Officers investigated a disturbing the peace report on W. Teton. Officers issued a verbal warning to neighbors in the area.
Officers responded to a residence on Apache Ave. to assist a citizen who was hearing strange sounds in his house.
Melanie Jones, 43 of Green River was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol after she was stopped for speeding through the school zone on W. Flaming Gorge. Jones was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and booked into jail.
Charles Berry, 25 of Green River was arrested for Driving Under Suspension after officers learned Berry’s license was suspended after stopping Berry for failing to maintain a single lane of travel on Uinta Drive. Berry was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and booked into jail.
