Kirk J Harris, age 51 of Green River was arrested on 2/2/12 at 13:18 hours on Upland Way for Driving While Intoxicated and an Interlock Device violation. Harris was stopped for a traffic infraction and subsequent investigation revealed he was intoxicated and driving without an interlock device as required. Harris was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers investigated two 18 year olds and a 17 for Possession of Controlled Substances on 2/1/12 at 20:04 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way. The investigation began when officers stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. Officers smelled the odor of burnt marijuana and subsequent investigation uncovered a small amount of marijuana, paraphernalia and other controlled substances. The report has been forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
Denver J Eaton, age 24 of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 2/2/12/at 17:07 hours on Astle Ave. Officers received information that Eaton was driving with a suspended driver’s license and he was stooped and cited for the violation.
Officers assisted Department of Family Service’s personnel on Summer View Drive with a welfare check. A 2 year old and a 4 year old were taken into protective custody and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
A report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus was investigated on Monroe Ave. A suspect has been identified but yet to be questioned.
Officers were dispatched to Suspicious Circumstances on Cumorah Way when a neighbor reported an apartment door was wide open. Officers checked the apartment and the resident advised the door sometimes doesn’t latch properly.
