William B Morgan, age 38, of Green River was arrested on 12/8/11 at 23:23 hours on N 3rd E for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Officers were dispatched to a man with a gun call at the Red Feather Bar. Officers learned that a man pulled a gun on another man after a fight. The suspect was disarmed by other patrons and he left the area. Subsequent investigation revealed Morgan pointed a loaded gun at some patrons of the bar. Morgan was located and arrested at his apartment and transported to jail.
Joshua W Keller, age 26, of Green River was arrested on 12/8/11 at 23:19 hours on Uinta Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Keller was stopped for speeding and lane use and further investigation showed he was intoxicated. Keller’s blood alcohol concentration was over double the legal limit and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers investigated a report of Auto Burglary on Windriver Drive when the victim reported a stereo, values at $150, was stolen from her vehicle sometime between the end of October and this date. She stated her vehicle was inoperable and when her husband came to get her vehicle the stereo was missing.
A report of Neglect was investigated on Virginia Circle.
A report of a subject purporting to be from a Consumer Service group asking for the reporting party’s credit card number and told her there were problems with her card. The reporting party recognized the call to be a scam and hung up.
A report of Harassing Phone Calls was taken on E 2nd N when the reporting party advised he applied for a loan online and decided not to borrow the money. He has since received threatening phone calls telling him he is going to be sued. The GRPD would like to remind our citizens that there are numerous scams being used to try and defraud citizens and to be vigilant and not give personal information or send money to anyone you do not know personally.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported on Cumorah Way when a sister became worried about her siblings relationship.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported on S 7th W between a girlfriend and boyfriend arguing over her texting other men.
Accidental damage was reported when the victim advised someone had opened their vehicle door and struck the victim’s causing an estimated $300 in damage.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing drug test on Commerce Way.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on W Flaming Gorge Way with a 30 year old female having difficulty breathing.
Officers responded to a report of a lost child on W 7th N; the child was located at a neighbor’s home.
