Jeff Stout, age 24, of Rock Springs was cited for Driving While Suspended and Use of Cell Phone While Driving on 10/26/11 at 17:14 hours on Andrews Street. Stout was stopped for the cell phone violation and a driver’s license check showed his Utah driver’s license to be suspended.

Officers took a report of a crash on Hitching Post Drive when a car driven by a 16 year old girl struck the rear of a car driven by a 17 year old male. No damage was reported to either vehicle and no injuries were reported.

Carrie Robinson reported a Hit and Run crash on 10/26/11 at 15:20 hours on N 1st E when a blue SUV, possibly a Tahoe or Yukon, side swiped the Toyota car she was driving and left the scene. Robinson described the driver as a white male in his mid twenties wearing a green jacket. No injuries were reported and damage to the car Robinson was driving was estimated at over $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers took a report of a crash that occurred at the Riverview Cemetery when a truck driven by Larry Cordova accidently backed into a bench at the cemetery. No damage to the Cordova truck was reported and damage to the bench is undetermined at this time.

A girl’s bike was found at Expedition Academy.

Barking Dog complaints were taken on Fir Street, Jefferson Street and on Indiana Court.

Officers responded to a panic alarm at the Bridger Loaf and Jug; the alarm was accidental.

A stray cat was turned in to the Animal Shelter.
