Garret R Cook, age 18, Dominic V Palmonari, age 18 and Janea C Vose, age 18, all of Colorado Springs Colorado were arrested on 10/16/11 at 07:30 hours on Monroe Ave for Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana. Cook was stopped for speeding and subsequent investigation showed the individuals were in possession of 44 grams of marijuana, a scale and packaging material for distributing marijuana. All three were taken into custody and transported to jail.

A report of a Larceny was taken on Uinta Drive when the driver of a silver truck with a camper shell pumped $25 in gas and drove off without paying. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers responded to a report of a verbal domestic dispute on E Flaming Gorge Way. No physical violence was reported and the couple returned to home in Rock Springs.

Officers investigated a crash on Riverview Drive when a truck driven by Steven Valentine struck a parked car owned by Andrea Purcell. Damage to the Purcell vehicle was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the truck driven by Valentine and no injuries were reported.

A vicious animal complaint was taken on Colorado Drive when the victim reported she was bitten by a neighbor’s dog. A subsequent check showed the dog to be current on its vaccinations.

Abandoned vehicles were towed from E 5th S, and also from Easy Street.

A dog at large complaint was taken at Monroe School.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents with witnessing a drug test on Commercial Way.

Officers opened a locked car that had a young child inside.

A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated on W 2nd N; the individual was waiting to give a ride to a friend.

Officers assisted a citizen who was locked out of their house on Cedar Circle.

Officers investigated a 911 hang up call on Andrews Street; a juvenile was playing with the phone.

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person trying to get into a vehicle on Flaming Gorge Way. The suspect got into a taxi for a ride home.

A Nuisance Animal report was taken on Cheyenne Drive.


An Illegal Dumping complaint was taken on Astle Ave; suspect was contacted and agreed to remove the refuse.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Saratoga Drive with a male subject with severe back pains.

Officers responded to a report of a fight at the skate park; the suspects were gone on arrival of the police.

Officers responded to a report of a Reckless Driver on Expedition Island; the suspect vehicle was gone upon arrival of police.

Officers assisted a citizen with helping to get an elderly person into her house.

Nuisance animal complaints were taken on Bridger Drive for a barking dog.
