Officers investigated a crash on Uinta Drive when a pickup truck driven by Brandon Barenz, overturned one complete time while exiting the Clearview Lanes Bowling alley parking lot. Barenz then drove the truck to the Long Horn Construction parking lot and parked his vehicle there. Damage to the Barenz truck was estimated at over $1000, no injuries were reported and no other damage was reported. Barenz was cited for Careless Driving.
Officers investigated a crash on W 2nd S when a vehicle driven by Alycia Johnson struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by William Cudney. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at over $1000 and Johnson was transported to Memorial Hospital for injuries she sustained.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash at the Smith’s Food Store parking lot when an unknown vehicle stuck a parked white 2002 Subaru Forrester owned by Kaylee Hollandsworth. Damage to the Hollandsworth vehicle was estimated at under $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a report of Shoplifting at the Smiths Grocery Store when Debin Punches, age 31, of green River attempted to steal over $400 in groceries from the store. Punches was chased by store workers and drove off leaving the groceries in a cart in the parking lot. Officers later located Punches at his residence and he admitted to trying to steal the groceries. A report was forwarded to the City Attorney for review.
Officers investigated a Larceny report on Arizona Street when the reporting party advised he witnessed two juvenile males exited a truck and steal two gas cans from a residence on Arizona Street. The witness provided the police with a license plate and the suspects were later stopped and identified. One of the juveniles admitted to stealing the gas cans. A 17 year old male was arrested and transported to jail. The case is still under investigation.
Officers investigated a report of a fight at Penny’s Dinner on 10/13/11 at 02:28 hours. Two individuals, Jared Sharp, age 33, of Green River and Dylan Staskiewicz, age 23, of Green River, agreed to meet in the parking lot and settle a dispute. A fist fight ensued and the police were notified. Statements were taken from both individuals and a report will be forwarded to the County Attorney for review.
A Nuisance Animal complaint was taken on Monroe Ave.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing a drug test on Commercial Way.
Officers transported a prisoner from County jail to Municipal Court for an initial appearance and then back to jail.
A girls bicycle was found on Greasewood Street.
Officers assisted a 51 year old male who fell out of his wheelchair on Crossbow Drive.
Animal Control Officers checked on a dog on Arizona Street when the reporting party advised the dog has a growth on its face. The dog has a tumor and is being treated by a veterinarian.

A 911 hang up call was investigated on N 1st E and it was determined to be telephone line problems.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel Ridge Crossing with an 18 year old asthma patient who is having trouble breathing.
