Officers investigated an Auto Burglary on E 3rd S when the victim reported two pairs of sunglasses and a wallet were taken from his maroon 2009 Chevrolet truck. The truck was unlocked at the time of the theft. Anyone with information please notify the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated an Auto Burglary on S 4th E when the victim someone entered his red 1991 Pontiac and rummage through it without taking anything. The car was unlocked at the time. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555. The GRPD would like to remind our citizens that most auto burglaries are crimes of opportunity. Please remove valuables and lock your vehicles.

Shanea Mitchell reported a Hit and Run crash while her vehicle was parked at the GRHS parking lot on 9/21/11. Damage to the Mitchell car, a gold Pontiac Grand Prix, was estimated at over $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a crash on Colorado Drive at the intersection of W Teton Blvd when a car driven by Robert Martinez struck a car driven by Charla Harris. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each and no injuries were reported. Martinez was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on W Railroad Street.

A vicious animal report was investigated on W Teton Blvd when the reporting party advised her neighbor’s dog ran at her and was acting aggressively towards her. Statements were taken from both parties and the report was forwarded to the City Attorney for review.

A juvenile problem was reported on Green River Way.

A black pickup truck registered to Jose R Gomez, of Rock Springs, was towed from Uinta Drive and Upland Way on 9/22/11 at 06:56 hours for Illegal parking.
