Alberto Rivera Valadez, age 33, of Green River was arrested on 8/24/11 at 03:52 hours on E Teton Blvd on a warrant out of United States Federal Court for Delivery of Methamphetamine. Officers from the Green River Police Department assisted agents from Wyoming DCI, the US Drug Enforcement Agency and ICE with the arrest and search of Valadez residence in Green River.

Joseph M Grimm, age 49, of Rock Springs was arrested on 8/24/11 at 12:50 hours on Commerce Way for Use of Methamphetamine. Grimm tested positive for methamphetamine while at Probation and Parole and admitted to use the substance at his residence in Rock Springs on the 24th of this month.

Braxton L Carlin, age 21, of Bloomfield Idaho was arrested on 8/24/11 at 03:00 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way for Malicious Mischief and Public Intoxication. The arrest was the result of an investigation which showed Carlin had broken a window with a rock while at the Oak Tree Inn.

Officers investigated a report of a Hit and Run crash at Stratton Meyers Park when an unknown vehicle struck a fence causing damage to over 40’ of the fence. The damage was estimated at over $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A Malicious Mischief report was investigated on Colorado Drive when the reporting party advised someone had placed a mailbox on his front lawn. Officers found a residence where the mailbox had been ripped up out of the ground. Officers attempted to locate the owner of the found mailbox but no one answered the door. Officers left a business card for the owner to contact the GRPD. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a crash on Riverview Drive when a truck driven by Robert Harper drove up on to the sidewalk and struck a split rail fence at 500 Riverview Drive. The truck continued and struck a Nissan Morano parked in the driveway at the residence. The Morano was then pushed into a Ford Crown Victoria parked next to the Morano. The Crown Victoria was then pushed into the garage door at 500 Riverview Drive damaging the door. The truck continued across the alley and struck a chain link fence at 390 Greasewood and became stuck on top of the fence where it came to rest. Damage to all three vehicle involved was estimated at over $1000 each and the damage to the garage door and fences have not been determined at this time. Harper was cited for Careless Driving.

A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Scotts Bottom Road when an unknown person pushed over a Port a Potty. There was no apparent damage to the unit. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555. A Harassment report was taken on Schultz Street. A welfare check was initiated on Hackberry Street. Two bikes were found on Hitching Post Drive.
