Jeffrey L Oneida, age 26, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 8/21/11 at 08:50 hours on Hitching Post Drive. Officers stopped Oneida for driving the wrong way on Iowa Street which is posted as a one way street. A check of Oneida’s driver license showed he is suspended. Oneida was cited and released at the scene.
Keasha Faucett, age 21, of Rock Springs was arrested on 8/21/11 at 02:39 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way for Driving While Intoxicated. Faucett was stopped for a lane violation and subsequent investigation showed she was under the influence of alcohol. A portable breath test showed her blood alcohol concentration was over double the legal limit. Faucett was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Tim Burum, age 37, of Holladay Utah was cited for Public Intoxication and Reckless Driving on 8/20/11 at 18:23 hours on Shoshone Drive. Burum crashed his motorcycle and was transported to Memorial Hospital for his injuries. Subsequent investigation showed Burum was under the influence at the time of the crash.
Brandon A Smith, age 24, of Laramie Wyoming was arrested on 8/21/11 at 00:01 hours on Bridger Drive for Driving While Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. Smith was contacted earlier in the evening by officers for an unrelated matter and officers observed he was impaired at that time. Officers warned Smith not to drive. Smith was later observed driving and was stopped. Smith admitted to using prescription medication that was prescribed to his wife and not to him. Smith could not perform sobriety maneuvers successfully and was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Elmer Colestock, age 60, of Green River was arrested on 8/19/11 at 22:40 hours on Indian Hills Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Officers stopped Colestock for an improper turn and a lane use violation. Subsequent investigation showed Colestock to be intoxicated and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Michael Semon, age 19, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Insurance on 8/19/11 at 20:29 hours on Upland Way. Officers stopped Semon for speeding and a driver’s license check showed Semon license to be suspended and he could not show proof of insurance.
Mark W Grosenick, age 32, of Flag Staff Arizona, was arrested on 8/19/11 at 23:20 hours on W Teton Blvd for Public Intoxication and Open Container. Officers responded to report of a man passed out on the sidewalk on W Teton Blvd. Subsequent investigation showed Grosenick was intoxicated and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
A report of a Hit and Run crash was investigated on Greasewood Street when a silver colored vehicle struck a parked truck owned by Terrin Musbach. Damage to the Musbach truck was estimated at over $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a crash at the Smith’s Store parking lot when a truck driven by John Morrison backed into a car driven by Mary Jimeno. Damage to the Morrison truck was estimated at under $1000 and over $1000 to the Jimeno car. No injuries were reported.
Nathaniel Gomez reported a Hit and Run crash at an unknown time and date at an unknown location. Gomez stated he thought his truck was parked at the time of the crash. Damage to the Gomez truck was estimated at under $1000.
Officers received a report of a crash that occurred at the Expedition Island parking lot flatbed trailer being towed by a Penske Rental truck, driven by Juris Didichsons, struck a parked car owned by Wilfred Cordova. Damage to the Cordova car was estimated at over $1000 and no damage to the trailer. No injuries were reported
Officers investigated a crash on Logan Street at the intersection of Pelser Street when a car driven by Tina Nilles attempted a U turn and was struck by a truck driven by Ronald Harsha. Damage to both vehicles was reported at over $1000 each. Nilles was cited for Inattentive Driving.
Officers investigated a crash at the Warehouse Home Furnishings parking lot when a car driven by Melissa Portello backed into a car driven by Kenneth Petty. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.
A report of Criminal Entry was investigated on Schultz Street when the victim reported her soon to be ex-husband broke into her residence while she was sleeping. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review. A report of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses was taken on Uinta Drive. A Trespass warning was issued on E Flaming Gorge Way. A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Brandner Circle. A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Connecticut Place. Welfare checks were initiated on S 3rd E and also on Uinta Drive. Suspicious Circumstances were reported on E Flaming Gorge Way. Verbal domestic disputes were reported on Cumorah Way and on Virginia Drive. A Threats report was taken on Iowa Circle.
