A 19 year old female reported being assaulted on 7/7/11 at 01:30 hours on Miller Street. The woman reported she was attacked from behind and knocked unconscious by an unknown assailant. The investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Jothan D Wilson Timothy J Harter and a 15 year old male were identified and arrested as a result of 17 Burglary and Larceny investigations, involving loss in excess of $6000, that occurred in Green River since the beginning of May of this year. The individuals would enter mostly unlocked vehicle and steal any valuables that were left there by the victims. Many of the stolen items recovered were found in pawn shops in the Salt Lake City area. Numerous items have been recovered and some of the owners of the recovered property have not been identified at this time. If you have had any items taken from your vehicle and have not reported it to the police in Green River please call 872-0555.

Lane Johnson, age 48, of Green River was cited for Animal at Large on 7/7/11 at 08:50 hours on Andrews Street after Animal Control Officers received a complaint.

Janice Grammer, age 57, of Green River was cited for Nuisance Animal on 7/5/11 at 12:37 hours on Oklahoma Drive when Animal Control Officers responded to a complaint of a barking dog.

A report an attempted Fraud was taken at the China Garden Restaurant when the reporting party advised they were contacted by phone and e-mail requesting to place an order for $850 in food. The phone suspect was allegedly from AT&T and was placing the order for a handicapped person. The suspect then asked to charge an additional $850.00 for the order to his credit card and the additional money and food would be picked up by a courier. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

A littering report was taken on Scotts Bottom Road. Cruelty to Animals report was taken on Sundance Drive.
