Michael T Flores, age 33, of Green River was arrested on 7/4/11, at 21:40 hours on Riverview Drive for Fighting in Public. Officers were dispatched 219 Riverview Drive in regarding a fight in progress. Upon arrival officers met with Flores and Gene Pierce, age 44 of Green River and it was learned both were involved in a fight with each other. An ambulance was called for Pierce due to his asthmatic condition and he was transported to Memorial Hospital. Pierce was issued a citation for fighting and Flores was arrested and taken to jail.

Jessie M Weert, age 24, of Green River was arrested on 7/1/11 at 21:00 hours on Bridger Drive for Driving While Intoxicated and failure to report a Property Damage Accident. Officers were dispatched to a Hit and Run crash at 1400 Bridger Drive. The crash occurred on Uinta Drive at Astle Ave and Weert left the scene and drove to the apartment complex. The drive of the other vehicle followed Weert and notified police. Officers conducted an investigation and determined Weert to be intoxicated.

Wayne Overton, age 49, of Green River was arrested on 7/1/11 at 20:00 hours on N 1st E for Driving While Intoxicated. Officers were dispatched to the area of the Green River Cemetery regarding a four wheeler accident. Subsequent investigation showed Overton was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Travis Gilmore, age 18, of Green River was arrested on 7/5/11 at 02:10 hours on S 2nd E for Underage Consumption and Public Intoxication. Officers stopped and spoke with some individuals when she heard one of the subjects yell out some expletives and it sounded like there was going to be a fight. Further investigation showed Gilmore was intoxicated and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers investigated a crash at the Toll Gate Station when a Budget Rental truck driven by Daniel Berger struck the canopy at the gas pumps. Damage to the truck was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported. Unknown amount of damage to the stations canopy at this time.

Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash Uinta Drive at Astle Ave when a car driven by Jessie Weert struck the rear of a car driven by Chance Munoz. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each. Weert was arrested for DWUI and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash when she left the scene and drove to the Bridger Drive apartment complex. Munoz followed Weert and called in the crash.

Officers investigated a crash on the cemetery road when a four wheeler driven by Wayne Overton rolled over ejecting Overton and his passenger. Overton and his passenger were transported to Memorial Hospital.

Officers investigated a crash at the GRHS parking lot when a car driven by Kamen Mitchell struck a light pole knocking over the pole and causing over a $1000 to the vehicle he was driving. No injuries were reported and Mitchell was cited for Careless Driving.

Officers investigated a report of a Burglary on 7/3/11 at 13:07 hours Oklahoma Drive when the victim advised someone entered their camp trailer and stole a DVD player. The camp trailer was unlocked at the time of the theft.

A report of Child Endangering was investigated on Bridger Drive when a 20 month old child was found walking around unsupervised. The Department of Family Services was contacted and the child’s parents were later located. A report has been forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office for review.

A report of Interference with Custody was taken on 6/30/11 at 18:00 hours on Mountain View Drive when the mother of a 9 yrs old female picked up her daughter one day early for a holiday visitation.

A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Fir Street when and unknown person knocked a mailbox off its supports causing $5.00 in damages.

Malicious Mischief reports were taken on South Carolina Circle when unknown persons put shoe polish on a camp trailer and also on a pickup truck.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Saratoga Drive. A verbal dispute was reported on Juniper Street. A welfare check was initiated on Upland Way. Suspicious Circumstances were reported on Midwest Drive. A Nuisance Animal report was taken on Oklahoma Drive. A license plate belonging to Matthew McFadden was found on at a car wash and turned in to the police department. A verbal dispute was reported on E Teton Blvd.
