Kirk Protsman, age 30, of Green River was arrested on 6/25/11 at 00:49 hour son Cumorah Way for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Officers were dispatched to 1430 W Teton in reference to a subject who pointed a rifle at his wife. Upon arrival officers learned the suspect left and he was residing on Cumorah Way. Protsman was located on Cumorah Way and arrested after admitting to pointing the rifle at his wife.

A 16 year old male was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated on 6/25/11 at 01:13 hours on Riverview Drive. The juvenile was stopped for a Stop Light violation and subsequent investigation showed him to be under the influence of alcohol. The on call Deputy County Attorney authorized the arrest of the juvenile and he was transported to County jail.

Bufford Greymountain, age 39, of Green River was arrested on 6/26/11 at 17:59 hours on E Teton Blvd for Driving While Intoxicated. Greymountain was involved in a traffic crash and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated at the time of the crash. Greymountain was taken into custody and transported to County jail.

Rodney Goodrick, age 57, of Fort Bridger Wyoming was cited for Possession of Marijuana on 6/25/11 at 19:25 hours on Bridger Drive. Goodrick was found to have marijuana on his person by security personnel at the Flaming Gorge Day concert. Security contacted the police who then contacted Goodrick. Goodrick handed officers a wood container that contained suspected marijuana. Goodrick was cited and released.

Dakota Failoni, age 18, of Green River was cited for Possession of Marijuana on 6/24/11 at 20:23 hours on Bridger Drive. Failoni had marijuana on her person when she attempted to enter into a concert at Flaming Gorge Days. The marijuana was found by security personnel who then contacted the police. Failoni was contacted by the police and she turned over a plastic container with suspected marijuana inside. Failone was cited and released.

Jared P James, age 28, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 6/24/11 at 14:34 hours on Uinta Drive. James was stopped for a registration violation and subsequent investigator showed his Wyoming driver’s license to be suspended.

Kyle Calkins, age 22, of Green River was cited for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor on 6/25/11 at 23:40 hours on Bridger Drive. Calkins was observed by officers to give a 17 year old female a beer while at the Flaming Gorge Days concert. He was cited and released.

A 17 year old female was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol on 6/25/11 at 23:40 hours on Bridger Drive while attending the Flaming Gorge Days concert. She was later released to her parent.

Colton S Martinez, age 19 of Green River was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol on 6/25/11 at 23:05 hours on Bridger Drive while attending a Flaming Gorge Days concert. Martinez was observed by an officer holding a beer. The officer knew Martinez from prior police contacts with him. Martinez was cited and released.

Spencer C Pitts, age 21 of Lyman Wyoming was cited for Public Intoxication on 6/24/11 at 22:47 hours on Bridger Drive. Pitts was contacted by officers for fighting with another individual while at a Flaming Gorge Days concert. During the course of the investigation it was determined Pitts was intoxicated and he was cited and escorted out of the concert.

Nicole Lee Dorsey, age 29, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 6/24/11 at 22:54 hours on Hitching Post Drive. Dorsey was stopped for a headlight violation and subsequent investigation showed Dorsey’s driver’s license to be suspended.

Officers investigated a four wheeler crash on E Railroad Street when the driver of an ATV failed to negotiate a turn and the ATV rolled over him. The driver was transported by ambulance to Sweetwater Memorial Hospital. It was later learned the driver was life flighted to Salt Lake City. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.

A Grand Larceny report was investigated on 6/25/11 at 11:21 hours on Hoover Drive when the victim advised two bicycles, a Trek Mountain bike and a Pandora GT bike was taken from his porch. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a traffic crash at the driveway at 2335 Hitching Post Drive when a truck driven by Kody McBride struck a parked car owned William Solberg. Damage to both vehicles was reported at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a traffic crash on Wilson Street when a car driven by Raymond Carothers backed into a parked car owned by Janice Lundgren. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each. No injuries were reported.

Luis Batista reported a Hit and Run crash on Schultz Street when an unknown vehicle struck his parked white Ford F 250 on 6/25/11 at 03:00 hours. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Bill Beard reported a Hit and Run crash on Hitching Post Drive at Monroe Ave on 6/24/11 at 19:19 hours when a maroon Ford pickup truck struck the rear of his blue 1997 Ford Taurus and then drove off. Beard advised the truck had Montana license plates. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a crash at the Verizon Store parking lot when a truck driven by Brandon Cleve backed into a Jeep driven by Francisco Alatorre. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a crash on Conestoga Lane when a truck driven by Shori Baldwin backed into a parked car owned by EAN Holdings of Renton Washington. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at under $1000. No injuries were reported.

A report of Identity Theft was taken on Evers Street when the victim advised she learned someone was using her name in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Green River Way when officers noticed damaged lawn lights. A report of a violation of a Family Protection Order was taken on Anvil Drive. A Malicious Mischief report was taken on E 3rd S when several intoxicated family members were involved in an altercation which resulted in the front door of the residence to be damaged. A Trespass warning was issued on Pioneer Blvd and also on Windriver Drive. A verbal domestic dispute was reported on E 4th S. A disabled motor vehicle belonging to Sergio Fausto was towed by Wild Card Towing on 6/25/11 from W Flaming Gorge Way. A welfare check was initiated on Logan Street. A driver’s license belonging to Allyson Dolence was found on N Riverbend Drive.
