Officers were dispatched to a report of a man with self inflicted gunshot wound to his chest on 5/2/11at 16:35 hours on Iowa Street. Officer assisted ambulance personnel and then took statements from witnesses at the scene. Detectives were notified and continued the investigation which is still on gong at this time.

Alejandro A Maldonado, age 33, of Green River was arrested on 5/3/11 at 00:59 hours on E Railroad Ave. Officers were dispatched to a traffic crash on E Railroad Ave in which a vehicle had struck and had become high centered on a flower pot. Subsequent investigation showed the driver, Maldonado, to be intoxicated and he arrested and was transported to County jail.

A 15 year old male was cited for Shoplifting 5/2/11 at 19:11 hours on Bridger Drive and he was later released to his parent.

A report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus was investigated on 5/2/11 at 08:10 hours on N 3 E Street. The driver was contacted and a statement was taken. The report was forwarded to the City Attorney for review.

A Larceny report was investigated on Uinta Drive when the driver of a gray Nissan Altima bearing Utah tags pumped $53.70 of fuel and then drove off. The registration was traced to a Utah business but the driver has not been identified at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

A Vicious Animal report was investigated on Wilkes Drive.
