Katherine J Stewart, age 32, of Green River was arrested on 5/1/11 at 22:38 hours on Cumorah Way. Officers investigated a disturbing the peace complaint and subsequent investigation showed Stewart and the other adults present were intoxicated. Stewart had her 3 year old son with her at her friend’s apartment. The child was turned over to a family member who had been called at Stewart’s request and Stewart was transported to the County Jail without incident.

Brandi S Keller, age 25, of Green River was arrested on 4/30/11 at 21:21 hours on Jefferson Street. Officers responded to a REDDI report on Madison Street and located a vehicle fitting the description traveling south on Jefferson Street. Officers observed a traffic violation and approached the driver who had pulled over onto the sidewalk. Subsequent investigation showed the driver, Keller, to be intoxicated and she was arrested and transported to County jail. A breath test at the jail showed her BAC was over twice the legal limit at the time of the arrest.

Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on Indian Hills Drive. The parties involved were intoxicated and the injuries incurred were reportedly self- inflicted and or happened accidently. The injuries were documented and the report has been forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on Daniel Boone Drive. One of the parties had left the scene prior to the police arriving. The injuries to the victim were documented and a report has been forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A report of Auto Burglary that occurred between 00:01 and 06:50 hours on 5/1/11 was investigated on E 3rd S when the victims reported their 1992 Ford pickup truck and their 2006 Chrysler van had been burglarized. A Jensen stereo and a Boss amplifier were reported stolen from the pickup truck and a Herberger’s canvas bag was taken from the van. The victims estimated their loss at $430. A Larceny report was taken at the Maverick Station when the driver of an older grey GMC Jimmy with yellow “Smiley Face” driving lights pumped $23.72 in gas and drove off without paying. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A Larceny report was taken at the Maverick Store when the driver of a newer model white Dodge pickup pumped 30.00 in fuel and drove off without paying. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A Larceny report was taken on Crossbow Drive when the victim reported her brother taking her prescription medication from her residence without her permission.


A counterfeit twenty dollar bill was reportedly passed at the Maverick store on Uinta Drive on 4/30/11 at about 20:30 hours. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a report of a Hit and Run crash on E Flaming Gorge Way when James Mahana advised an unknown vehicle struck his parked silver Chrysler Town van and then left the area. Damage to the Mahana van was estimated at over $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a traffic crash at the Uinta Loaf and Jug store when a truck driven by Timothy Wardell backed into a car driven by Donna Kalivas. Minor damage was reported and no injuries.

A report of Malicious Mischief and Disturbing the Peace was taken on Bridger Drive. A Harassment complaint was taken on Uinta Drive. Suspicious Circumstances were reported on Wilderness Trail when the reporting party stated she thought she heard a gun shot. Officers checked the area but unable to locate the source. A trespass warning was issued on E Flaming Gorge Way. A Disturbing the Peace complaint was taken on Wilkes Drive.

An abandoned vehicle owned by Ted Kalivas was towed from Fir Street.
