Officers were dispatched to a report of a barking dog on the 300 block of Clark St. at about 3:00 a.m. The dog had stopped barking just before officers arrived in the area. The officers checked the neighborhood for possible prowlers and spoke to the reporting citizen. The citizen agreed to call back if the dog started barking again. There were no further disturbances in the area.

Officers were dispatched to a dog at large on Bridger Drive. The dog was located and impounded.

Officers were dispatched to a burglar alarm at a business on Uinta Drive. The alarm was accidentally set off by a business employee.

Wesley J. Carter, 25 years old of Rock Springs was arrested at the Wyoming Probation and Parole Office on Commerce Way when his urinalysis tested presumptive positive for marijuana. Carter was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility and issued a citation into Circuit Court.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Juniper St. An 85 year old female was reported having abdominal pain and was transported to Sweetwater Memorial Hospital.

Officers investigated a report of sexual abuse of a minor on Monroe St.

Officers received a preliminary report of unauthorized use of a credit card at a business on N. 2 E.

Officers were dispatched to assist the Fire Department and ambulance personnel at a reported natural gas leak at a residence on Trona Drive. Construction workers hit a gas pipe during excavation work. There were no injuries and the Questar employees arrived on scene quickly rendered the scene safe.

Officers took an accidental damage report on N. 1 E. A trash can blew into a camp trailer and dented the siding.

Officers took a hit and run report at the police department. The hit and run reportedly occurred earlier in the day at the Smith’s Grocery Store parking lot.

Officers responded with the Green River Fire Department to the Monroe Intermediate School for a fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was determined to be accidental.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a dog at large call. A school crossing guard reported the dog running into traffic. The owners were located and issued a verbal warning.

Officers investigated a domestic dispute on E. Teton. The investigation was initiated by a series of hang up 911 calls that sounded to the dispatcher like a child playing on the phone.

Officers assisted with a civil matter on E. Railroad.

Officers were dispatched to Wilson St. to an anonymous report of loud music coming from a parked car. Officers responded to the area and music was turned down. The anonymous caller never called back to advise of any further disturbance.

Officers were dispatched to a reported fight in progress on Wilkes Drive. Officers arrived and determined an altercation had occurred between neighbors over a dispute of a neighbor of beating his dog. Officers received statements from those involved to forward to the Sweetwater County Attorney’s office for review.
