Officers investigated a minor traffic crash at the Post Office parking lot on 2/24/11 at approximately 1165 hours. The crash occurred when one driver became distracted while backing. The responding officer observed no visible damage and no enforcement action was taken.
Katherine Trujillo, age 27, of Green River was arrested at the probation and parole office on Commerce drive pursuant to an arrest and hold order that had been issued for her.
Officers responded to a residence on Elk Mountain Circle regarding a domestic disturbance. Officers did not find sufficient evidence that a crime had occurred. A rifle was turned over to officers for safe keeping.
Derek Downard, age 25, of Green River was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol after driving his vehicle over a retaining wall. When officers arrived on scene, the rear portion of Downard’s vehicle was on the retaining wall and the front portion was resting on a garbage can. Officers administered field sobriety tests after noticing signs of intoxication exhibited by Downard. Downard was subsequently arrested and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center.
