Richard Wheeler, age 46, of Green River was arrested on 11/27/10 at 17:19 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Suspended. Wheeler was stopped for Exhibition of Speed and further investigation showed Wheeler to be intoxicated and having a suspended driver’s license.
Colton S Martinez, age 19, and Erik K Flaten, age 19 both of Green River were cited for Minor Under the Influence of Alcohol on 11/27/10 at 00:04 hours on Alabama Street. Officer stopped for a disabled vehicle and further investigation showed Martinez and Flaten were under the influence. Both were cited and released.
Jack D Covington, age 20, of Green River was cited for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor on 11/26/10 at 21:17 hours on Miller Street. A house check was initiated at the request of the owner and officers found Covington to have furnished alcohol to other minors.
Travis D Lohman, age 27, of Green River was arrested on 11/26/10 at 15:19 hours on Commerce Way for Use of Methamphetamine. Officers were called to Probation and Parole to witness a urine test and the results showed positive for methamphetamine.
Erica L Casper, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 11/26/10 at 11:26 hours on Astle Street for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash, Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana. Officers were advised of a vehicle having just leaving the scene of an accident on Railroad Ave. Officers located the vehicle on Uinta Drive and a traffic stop was made on Astle Ave. Investigation showed the vehicle Casper to have been involved in the crash and to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana.
Joshua Flores, age 21, of Green River was arrested on 11/25/10 at 21:17 hours on Daniel Boone Drive for Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call and subsequent investigation showed Flores to be intoxicated and disturbing the peace.
Three juvenile males were arrested for Curfew on 11/28/10 at 02:11 hours on Logan Street and one was also charged with Possession of Narcotics Equipment. All were released to their parents.
A 15 year old female was cited for Possession of Narcotics Equipment on 11/27/10 at 22:22 hours on N 1st E. She was later released to her guardian.
A report of an Aggravated Assault and Battery was investigated on Anvil Drive. A pregnant female reported being assaulted by her live in boyfriend. The male suspect was gone when officers arrived and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on Riverview Drive on 11/24/10 at 21:54 hours between a brother and a sister. Neither party wanted to pursue charges and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A report of Domestic Battery was investigated on W Teton Blvd when a female reported she was assaulted by her husband. The husband had left the residence and was not available for a statement. A copy of the report was forwarded to the County Attorney office for review.
Traffic crashes were investigated at the Oak Tree Inn parking lot, at the parking lot at 1045 Medicine Bow Drive, on Uinta Drive, on S 4th W, on N 4th W and at the Smith’s Store parking lot.
Malicious Mischief reports were taken at numerous locations in the City of Green River when an unknown person or persons broke mirrors off several vehicles. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A Fraud report was taken on Trail Drive. A Threats report was taken on Uinta Drive. A welfare check was initiated on E 4th S. A juvenile problem was reported on Cumorah Way. A Trespass warning was given on Pelser Street. Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Jefferson Street and also on Logan Street. A Threats report was taken on Andrews Street. A verbal dispute was reported on South Carolina Circle.
