Paul D Stromberg, age 46, of Green River was arrested on 10/10/10 at 21:37 hours on Wilkes Drive for Domestic Battery and Interference with a Police Officer. Officers were dispatched to a report of a Domestic Battery at 420 Wilkes Drive # 17. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who identified Stromberg as the suspect. Officers attempted to speak with Stromberg about the incident and he became confrontational, which became physical. Stromberg was tased and arrested, then transported to the County jail.

Nathan Ewing, age 35, of Spokane Washington, was arrested on 10/09/10 at 05:42 hours on E Teton Blvd for Driving While Suspended. Ewing was stopped for speeding and a subsequent check of his driver’s license showed he was suspended.

Tara Rockwell, age 19, of Green River was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol on 10/09/10 at 03:56 hours on Jefferson Street. Rockwell was questioned regarding a possible Curfew violation and officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. Rockwell admitted to drinking a beer and was cited and released.

Casey L Aston, age 27, of Green River was arrested on 10/08/10 at 12:00 hours on Commerce Way for Use of a Controlled Substance. Officers were called to Probation and Parole to witness a urine test. Aston tested positive for methamphetamine and he admitted to using to his probation officer.

Officers investigated traffic crashes on w Flaming Gorge Way and on E Flaming Gorge Way.

A report of Identity Theft was investigated on E 2nd N.

A Larceny report was taken on W Flaming Gorge Way when approximately 300’ of copper wiring was taken from the rear of a pickup truck parked at the Oak Tree Inn. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A Shoplifting report was investigated on Uinta Drive. Malicious Mischief reports were taken on Hitching Post Drive and on Davy Crockett Drive. A Trespass warning was issued on N 3rd E. Suspicious Circumstances were reported on Clear View Drive and on E Teton Blvd. A verbal dispute was reported on Monroe Ave.
