| Officers checked on occupants in a vehicle parked outside the college after hours. While interacting |
| with the occupants, officers developed suspicion of possible drug activity. The Green River Police |
|
| Department drug detection K9 Ridex was deployed. Ridex gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics |
| and during the subsequent search of the vehicle a misdemeanor amount of marijuana and |
|
| paraphernalia was found. Matthew Winkel, age 18 of Green River, was arrested for possession of a |
|
| controlled substance(marijuana). |
|
|
|
| While at the detection center, during the booking process additional suspected marijuana was |
|
| found on Winkel, who was also charged with taking controlled substances or liquor into jails, |
|
| penal inst. or mental hospitals. |
