Officers received a report of a battery that occurred on a school bus. The victim and his mother came to the police department to report the incident involving another student. The case will be turned over to the school resource officers for further investigation.
Travis Boren, 33 years old was arrested on Astle Ave. for an outstanding Sweetwater County arrest warrant after police officers recognized him driving a pickup north on East Teton. Boren was transported to the Sweetwater Detention Facility and booked into jail.
Cameron Hadlock, 27 years old was arrested on Bridger Drive for an outstanding Sweetwater County arrest warrant after officers contacted a suspicious acting subject. When officers contacted Hadlock to inquire of his wellness, Hadlock provided identification and it was learned he had the outstanding warrant. Hadlock was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility and booked into jail.
Nick Demas, 27 years old was arrested on an outstanding Sweetwater County arrest warrant after officers stopped Demas for driving with no headlights on Uinta. Demas was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility and booked into jail.
Officers investigated a threats report on S. 5 E.

Officers responded to a disturbance at Jackson School. Officers interviewed a group of subjects in the area and learned a verbal dispute had taken place. William Lewis, 18 years old of Green River was located hiding at the scene and it was determined he had consumed an alcoholic beverage. Lewis was issued a citation into Green River Municipal court for underage consumption of alcohol and released at the scene.
William Cantrell of Green River reported a driver’s side rear window of his blue 2005 Hyundai was broken out while it was parked over night at Green River High School near the tennis courts. Damages were estimated at $200 and the investigation continues.
Officers responded to the Oak Tree Inn to a reported disturbance. After talking to the staff officers issued a trespass warning to a male subject. No criminal charges are pending at this time.
Cruz Garcia, 68 years old of Green River was arrested on Elm Street for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol after officers were requested to the area to investigate a traffic accident involving numerous parked cars. Garcia was driving a pickup pulling a camp trailer in which the
canopy was down and struck parked cars along the street. Garcia was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility and booked into jail.

Officers responded to a report of a theft of cash from a residence on Indian Hills. The case is still under investigation.
Isabelle Apt, 45 years old of Green River was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol on Monroe after officers observed the pickup Apt was driving was speeding and failing to maintain a single lane of travel. After further investigation by officers at the scene, Apt was arrested and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility and booked into jail.
Officers impounded a found bicycle on Trona Drive after it was reported to police by a citizen.
Officers investigated a report of threats. The reporting party came to the police department after she received several text messages threatening her teenage son. Officers called the numbers and learned it was a prank among teenage friends.
Officers responded to a report of a possible suicidal subject on Crossbow.
Officers took a report of a stolen lady’s purse at Smith’s Grocery Store after the owner left the purse in a shopping cart. The case has been referred to detectives for further investigation.
Officers responded to the Hampton Inn to a report of a protection order violation. The report has been forwarded to the Sweetwater County Attorney’s office for review and possible charges.

Jose Alatorre of Green River reported the loss of his wallet which contained personal documents to the police.
Thera Siler, 31 of Green River was arrested for Public Intoxication on the Uinta river bridge after officers observed Siler arguing with a male subject on a motorcycle blocking a travel lane. Siler was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and booked into jail.
