Incidents from 8-1-2017 0600hrs to 8-2-2017 0600hrs
 
The charge is merely an accusation and individuals are presumed innocent
until and unless proven guilty.

Officers responded to an address in reference to a report of a parking problem.  The reporting party advised there were three
vehicles parked in the parking lot and they did not know who owned the vehicles.  The reporting party advised they wanted
to contact the owners of the vehicles before having the vehicles towed.

Officers responded to an address in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances.  The reporting party advised they found 
a gas can in their yard.  Officers investigated the matter and determined the gas can likely fell out of a passing vehicle.  Officers
collected the gas can which was subsequently booked in as found property.

activated at a residence. The alarm appeared to be the result of a malfunctioning sensor.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at Expedition Island, who had earlier been in the 
Pavilion. Officers contacted the individual who advised they were waiting for their ride to pick them up.

Jose Alonzo, age 62 of Santa Rosa, California was arrested per an active Sheridan County, Nebraska warrant for 
failure to appear on original charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a drug paraphernalia 
and failure to appear for a bail hearing.

Officers received a call of a contained Yellow Labrador Retriever in the reporting party's back yard. Officers
picked up the dog and the dog was taken to the animal shelter.

Officers investigated a report of an aggravated assault at the Skate Park. It was reported that a subject pulled 
out a knife after being confronted by teenaged individuals about missing property. The subject left the area in a vehicle.  
Officers contacted the involved parties, who reported being threatened by the other. The property was 
located, officers completed a report regarding the incident which was forwarded to the Sweetwater County Attorney's Office.

Officers responded to a noise complaint of a resident working on their roof. Officers contacted the resident
regarding the complaint and the resident advised they were done for the night.

Officers picked up a stray contained cat at a residence and took the cat to the animal shelter.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person looking inside the windows of a vehicle. The reporting
 party spoke with the person who stated they were looking for someone and left the area on foot. The 
reporting party advised the suspicious person did not enter the vehicle. Officers checked the area and were
unable to locate anyone.
