| and was contacted by an individual over the phone with a foreign accent. The caller asked to remotely |
|
| access the reporting party's computer, reported the computer had been hacked and set up program to fix the |
|
| problem. The reporting party advised the computer worked better and was contacted by the caller again and |
|
| told if the reporting party sent $1000.00 by MoneyGram to China the caller could track the suspect who had |
|
| hacked their computer. The reporting party did send money and later learned it was possibly a scam. Officers |
|
| completed a report regarding the incident. |
