Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on August 11, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
August 12, 2014:
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Gannett Circle, regarding a snake in the yard.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on I-80.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Delaware Place, in reference to a report of vandalism. The reporting party stated a vehicle window at the residence was damaged during the previous night.
Officers responded to an address on New Hampshire Street, in regards to a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated items were stolen from the back of a vehicle.
Officers contacted a resident by telephone regarding a citizen assist.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on Monroe Avenue and California Drive.
Officers were dispatched to the area of East 2nd South, in regards to a report of a suspicious person. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the described individual.
Officers responded to an address on Wild Horse Canyon Road, in reference to a two vehicle collision.
Officers responded to an address on Park View Street, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem.
Officers were dispatched to the area of East Railroad Avenue, in regards to a report of trespassing. Officers contacted an individual who was given a trespass warning for Union Pacific property.
Officers responded to an address on New Mexico Street, in reference to a welfare check.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard, regarding a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a request of a subject removal. The individual left the property prior to Officers arrival.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a report of stalking. Officers checked the suspected vehicle and determined the call was unfounded.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated items were stolen from storage on the property. Officers completed a report regarding the incident.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Elm Street.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of South 2nd East, regarding a report of two dogs at large. Animal Control Officers were unable to locate the described dogs.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on East 3rd South.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Sunset Street, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the resident and determined kids were playing in the house and on the phone.
Officers responded to the area of Monroe Avenue, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. It was reported an altercation occurred while juveniles were playing. Officers contacted the juveniles’ parents and completed a report about the incident.
Officers responded to an unsecured property at an address on South 2nd East. Officers contacted a responsible party for the property and secured the property.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, Officers contacted an employee who accidently set the alarm off.
