Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 25, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on July 26, 2014:
Officers responded to an address on West 3rd North, in regards to a report of a hit and run vehicle crash. The reporting party stated their vehicle was struck by another vehicle sometime during the previous night while it was parked and unoccupied.
Officers responded to an address on Wilkes Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on: Castle Rock Court, Wyoming Drive, East 3rd South, McKinley Street and South 5th East.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Crossbow Drive.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on California Drive, regarding a barking dog complaint. Animal Control Officers posted a notice at the address.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a report of a five day parking violation. Officers determined the vehicle was not in violation and contacted the reporting party.
Officers responded to the area of South 1st West, in reference to a report of vandalism. The reporting party stated juveniles were damaging a tree.
Officers and Castle Rock Ambulance personnel responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to an unattended death.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to a 911 hang up call. While enroute the resident called back on the non emergency line requesting a citizen assist. Upon arrival, Officers reported everything was okay.
Officers responded to an address on Wilkes Drive, in reference to a larceny. The reporting party stated their bicycle was stolen.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on North 1st East, regarding bat flying inside the building.
Officers responded to a call on Church View Street, regarding a medical call.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on North 5th West, in regards to a barking dog complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an area on Bridger Drive, in regards to a welfare check. Officers checked the area and the information given by the reporting party was unfounded.
Officers responded to an address on Mansface Street, regarding a medical call.
Officers and Castle Rock Ambulance personnel responded to Jensen Street and Barnhart Street, in reference to a bicycle accident resulting in an injury.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a welfare check on a dog left in a vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of property damage. Officers spoke with the reporting party and completed a report about the incident.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a disturbance. Officers spoke with the involved parties, who reported a verbal dispute occurred.
Officers responded to an address on South Carolina Drive, in regards to a report of juveniles shooting bows in the back yard.
Officers took a report from an individual who reported a violation of a protection order. Upon further investigation, it was determined no violation occurred.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Sundance Drive, in reference to a barking dog complaint. Officers left a message for the owner, who was going to take care of the issue. A report was completed regarding the incident.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. Officers contacted involved parties and reported a verbal dispute occurred.

July 27, 2014:
Officers responded to an address on Riverview Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of two dogs at large. The dogs were located and turned over to the owners who were looking for them.
Officers completed a VIN inspection at an address on Bridger Drive.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby and took a report of a sexual assault.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, reference to a civil standby regarding custody exchange.
Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street, in reference to a medical call.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the involved parties and determined a verbal dispute occurred.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a report of an individual attempting to purchase tobacco for underage persons.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Upland Way, in reference to a report of a dog at large. The dog was described as an older black dog with a gray colored face.
Officers responded to an address on North Wagonwheel Drive, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers posted a notice at the residence.
Officers responded to an address on Wyoming Drive, in regards to a report of three dogs at large. The dogs were returned to their yards and a report was completed.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Evans Street, in reference to a report of juveniles lighting fireworks.
Officers responded to the area of East Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in reference to an alarm. Officers checked the property and reported the building was secure.
Officers responded to an address on Keith Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Bridger Drive, in reference to a juvenile problem regarding curfew.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 27, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on July 28, 2014:
Officers were dispatched to an address on Powell Street, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers contacted the owner of the dog and completed a report about the incident.
Officers responded to an address on West 2nd North, in reference to a medical call.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Massachusetts Court, in regards to a report of two dogs at large. The dogs were described as Chocolate Labs.
Officers responded to on Moran Drive, reference to a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East 4th South, in regards to a report of a snake in the yard.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Wilderness Trail, regarding barking dog complaint. Animal Control Officers spoke with the owner about the complaint and gave them a warning.
Officers completed VIN inspections on Upland Way and Hitching Post Drive.
Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Way, in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated items were taken from the yard of the residence.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Monroe Avenue, in reference to a report of a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with involved parties and determined a verbal dispute occurred.
Officers responded to the area of Pennsylvania Boulevard, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers checked the area and reported everything was quiet.
Officers responded to the area of Colorado Circle, in regards to a report of two dogs at large. The dogs returned to their property prior to Officers arrival.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Colorado Drive, in regards to found property. The item found was a wallet.
Officers responded to an address on Wilkes Drive, in reference to a citizen assist. The resident locked their keys in the vehicle with a dog inside the vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wind River Drive, in reference to a report of a hit and run vehicle crash. The reporting party stated the rear passenger side of their vehicle was hit by an unknown vehicle while parked on the street.
Officers responded to an area on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. The reporting party stated juveniles were being loud and possible intoxicated. Officers contacted the juveniles who had not been drinking.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Uinta Drive and Monroe Avenue, in reference to a two vehicle crash. Officers completed a report regarding the vehicle crash.
