On 6/9/10, investigators recovered property stolen during the burglary of Busy Bee Bath Essentials that was reported on 11/4/09. A suspect has been identified in the case. The case is being referred to the county attorney’s office for charges.
On 6/14/10, investigators recovered property stolen during an auto burglary that was reported on 6/12/10. Three juvenile suspects have been identified as being involved in the theft. During the investigation, detectives also recovered property taken from a separate vehicle between 6/10 and 6/13/10 that had not been reported to the police department. Both cases are being referred to the county attorney’s office for charges.
Officers investigated a traffic crash on Trail Drive on 6/16/10 at 0545 hours. The crash occurred when a parked vehicle was not properly secured enabling it to roll out of a driveway and into a neighboring parked vehicle.
Officers investigated a traffic crash on East Flaming Gorge Way on 6/17/10 at 1547 hours. The crash occurred when one vehicle was stopped at a traffic light. The driver of a following vehicle did not notice the first vehicle stop and collided with the rear of the stopped vehicle.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Windriver Drive on 6/17/10 at 1803 hours. The parties involved stated the dispute was verbal only. The parties separated and officers issued a trespass warning to one of the subjects.
Lucas Meadows, age 31, of Cheyenne was arrested for public intoxication on 6/17/10 at 2115 hours on E. Flaming Gorge Way. Officers were called to the area by a subject stating Meadows was attempting to start a fight. Officers spoke with additional witnesses who also claimed Meadows was trying to initiate a fight. Officers confronted Meadows who had the strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Meadows was subsequently arrested and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center.
