The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 14, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 15, 2014:
Officers transported two prisoners from the Sweetwater County Detention Center to the Green River Municipal Court from court appearances.
Officers responded to an address on Madison Avenue in reference to a report of found property. The reporting party advised they located a bike approximately three weeks ago. If you or someone you know lost a bike in the area please contact the Green River Police Department.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive in reference to a report of two juveniles riding bikes down a hill and onto the street.
Officers responded to the area of the Stratton Meyer Bike Park in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances. The reporting party advised they could smell natural gas in the area.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on North 5th West Street in reference to a report of a bat in a residence. Upon arrival, Animal Control Officers were able to contain the bat and remove it from the residence.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a citizen assist. The citizen requested directions to the Green River Shooting Range.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a report of two Dogs at Large.
Officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive at Riverview Drive in reference to a report of a Hit and Run.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Indiana Court in reference to a report of Rattle Snake in the area.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard in reference to a report of a barking dog. Animal Control Officers were unable to make contact with the dog’s owner and left a notice at the residence.
Animal Control Officers responded to Expedition Island in reference to a report of a nuisance animal. The reporting party advised there was a German Shepherd in the area, acting aggressive. Animal Control Officers were unable to locate the dog.
Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard in reference to a 911 call.
Officers took a report of a parking complaint at an address on Greasewood Street.
Officers assisted agents with the Wyoming Department of Family Services at an address on Virginia Drive.
Officers observed and assisted a motorist on East Teton Boulevard at Monroe Avenue.
Officers responded to the Green River in reference to a report of rafters that were possibly in distress. Officers made contact with the rafters and everything was okay.
Animal Control Officers observed a Dog at Large on Mississippi Street. Animal Control Officers impounded the dog at the animal shelter.
Officers responded to an address on Wind River Drive in reference to a report of a dog bite.
Officers responded to an address on Blake Street in reference to a report of a bat in a residence.
Officers along with personnel from the Green River Fire Department and Castle Rock Ambulance Service responded to Monroe Intermediate School in reference to a fire alarm. Upon arrival Officers determined everything was okay. A witness reported seeing juveniles running from the building at the time of the alarm.
Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of a fight.
Officers responded to an address on Cliff View Drive in reference to a report of a barking dog.
Officers completed VIN Inspections at an address on Wilderness Trail and at the Police Department.
