Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 11, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 14, 2014:

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service on Alabama Drive.

Officers responded to N 3rd W & W Flaming Gorge in regards to a parking complaint.

Officers were dispatched to Wild Horse Canyon Rd after receiving a 911 hang up. It was later determined to be caused by a fax machine.

Officers responded to E Flaming Gorge Way regarding a parking complaint.

Officers responded to N Wagonwheel in reference to a suspicious circumstance.

Officers were dispatched to an address on New Hampshire in reference to a welfare check on a subject.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive two separate times in reference to a report of a squirrel caught in a trap.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service on Nolan Street.

Officers responded to S 3rd E in reference to a suspicious circumstance.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Railroad Avenue in regards to a suspicious circumstance.

Officers responded to Logan Street at Astle Avenue in reference to a two vehicle crash. Minor damages were reported.

Animal Control Officers responded to Indian Hills Drive in regards to a barking dog complaint.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Blvd in regards to a civil issue.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Uinta Drive in regards to a small dog.

Officers responded to the Police Department in reference to a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to East Flaming Gorge Way in regards to a pet mouse which had been caught.

Officers took a report from the area of Wilson Street in reference to a larceny.

Officers were also dispatched to the area of Wilson Street in reference to a report of disturbing the peace. A report was completed.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Bridger Drive in reference to a problem involving several juvenile subjects. Officers contacted and advised the parents.

Officers responded to Wilson Street in reference to civil issues.

Officers received traffic complaints from the area of Riverview Drive.

Officers responded to Evers Street in reference to civil issues.

Officers were dispatched to a residence at Uinta Drive in regards to a verbal dispute.

Officers were dispatched to Waggener Circle in reference to a verbal dispute.

Officers responded to Wilson Street in reference to civil issues.

Officers were dispatched to streets of Jensen and Barnhart Street in reference to a suspicious subject.

Officers were dispatched to Firehole Place in reference to a verbal dispute.

Officers were dispatched to W 2nd North in reference to a domestic battery. Katherine Forrester, age 53, was arrested for battery and was booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

Officers were dispatched to Daniel Boone Drive in reference to a report of disturbing the peace. The subject was located and advised.


The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 12, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 13, 2014:

Animal Control Officers responded to Apache Avenue in reference to a black dog at large. The dog was located and placed at the animal shelter.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Cumorah Way in reference to a welfare check on dogs in a camper. The owner was advised.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at Mansface Street.

Officers also assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service on Wilderness Court.

Officers were dispatched to the area of N 1st East in reference to a suspicious male subject in the alley.

Officers responded to Missouri Court in reference to a civil matter. Both parties were advised.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Schultz Street in reference to a property dispute. Both parties were advised.

Officers responded to an alarm at a residence on Keith Drive. The alarm was later determined to be accidental.

Officers were dispatched to Clark Street in reference to a verbal dispute.

Officers responded to W 3rd South in reference to a report of trespassing.

Officers responded to the area of E Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a REDDI report.

Officers were dispatched to Cumorah Way in reference to a welfare check on a subject.

Officers responded to Evers Street to a loud party complaint. The residents were advised.

Officers were dispatched to Wind River Drive in reference to a disturbance. Jordan Harmon, age of 19, was arrested and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center. She was issued citations for public intoxication, disturbing the peace, and resisting arrest.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 13, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 14, 2014:

Officers responded to Sundance Drive for a barking dog complaint.

Officers were dispatched to S 3rd East for a parking complaint. The vehicle was tagged for 5 day parking.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East Teton in reference to a deer stuck inside a fence.

Officers were dispatched to a traffic collision on Trona Drive.

Officers responded to Hutton Street in reference to a report of suspicious activity.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service on North 2nd Street.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at Crossbow Drive.

Officers were dispatched to Mansface Street in reference to a welfare check.

Officers responded to South 2nd East in regards to a Citizen Assist.

Officers were dispatched to Powell Street in reference to a report of threats and harassment.

Officers were dispatched to Clark Street in reference to a verbal dispute.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Uinta and Shoshone after receiving a report of an animal being hit by a truck. The animal was not located.

Officers were dispatched to Gannet Circle in reference to a 911 hang up call. The call was later determined to be accidental.

Officers were dispatched to Locust Street in reference to a male subject who reported a snake bite.

Officers responded to Astle Avenue to investigate a vehicle colliding with a deer.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Cumorah Way in reference to a barking dog complaint.
Officers were dispatched to Apache Street in reference to a report of a suspicious circumstance.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Wilson Street in reference to a missing child. The child was located and returned home.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service on Logan Street.

Officers responded to a REDDI report on W Flaming Gorge Way.

Officers completed VIN checks on New Mexico Street, Wilderness Trail, Riverview Drive, E. Flaming Gorge Way, Elk Mountain Circle, and at the Police Department.
