Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on May 1, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on May 2, 2014:
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, in reference to a report of a dog bite.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in regards to a report of a trespassing complaint. Officers contacted the individual who was given a trespass warning for the property.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, regarding a citizen assist.
The Nuisance Officer responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a report of nuisance property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Powell Street, in reference to a parking complaint. Officers tagged the vehicle for five day parking.
Officers responded to an address West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a residential alarm. Upon arrival, Officers contacted a responsible party for the residence and determined everything was okay.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Florida Street, in regards to a report of a vehicle crash. It was reported a vehicle backed out of the driveway and struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle.
The Nuisance Officer responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of nuisance property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Buckboard Lane, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Officers located the dog and returned it to the owner who was issued a citation.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a parking complaint of vehicles blocking the sidewalk. Officers contacted the responsible party for the vehicles and addressed the parking complaint.
The Nuisance Officer responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to an abandoned vehicle.
Officers responded to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in reference to a report of trespassing. Officers located the individual and a trespass warning was issued for the property.
Officers responded to an address on Wilderness Trail, in reference to a report of trespassing. Officers issued a trespass warning to individuals for the property.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Michigan Court, in regards to a report of an injured animal.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of two suspicious people. Officers contacted the individuals and reported everything was okay.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Mountain View Drive, in regards to a report of a cat with a leash at large.
Officers responded to an address on Schultz Street, regarding a civil issue involving custody matters.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on West 3rd South.
Officers responded to the area of Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of an individual throwing fireworks out of a vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers assisted a motorist on South 4th West.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Bridger Drive, in reference to a REDDI report. Officers located the vehicle, and determined the driver was not intoxicated.
Officers responded to an address on Clark Street, in regards to a barking dog complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of a residential burglary. The case is under investigation by the GRPD Detective Division.
Officers responded to an address on East 4th South, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Officers spoke with the resident and determined a verbal dispute occurred and one party left prior to Officers arrival.
