Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 16, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 17, 2014:
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and an address on West Teton Boulevard.
Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, in regards to a report of two suspicious persons. The reporting party advised two teen-aged individuals were trying to get into a building.
Officers responded to an address on Mountain View Drive, in reference to a parking complaint. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and advised of five day parking.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Spring View Drive.
Officers responded to an address on Blake Street, in regards to a report of a nuisance property.
Animal control Officers responded to the area of Jensen Street, regarding a report of two dogs at large. Animal Control Officers located the animals and took them to the Green River Animal Shelter.
Officers were dispatched to an address on New Hampshire Street, in reference to a report of a runaway. Officers located the runaway who was reported to be okay.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Fawn Circle, in regards to a report of an alarm. The alarm was reported to be accidental.
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of a disturbance. The reporting party stated there was a verbal dispute between them and another motorist. The reporting party stated the other motorist brandished what they thought was a handgun. Officers contacted both parties and determined no firearm was involved.
Officers responded to an address on Wind River Drive, regarding a civil issue involving property.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Evans Drive, in reference to a report of a parking complaint. Officers located the vehicle in question and advised it was legally parked.
Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, in regards to a welfare check. Officers contacted the individual and reported everything was okay.
Officers assisted Green River Adult Probation and Parole; Colter Prime, age 25, was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Parole Violation.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Wind River Drive.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on West Railroad Avenue.
