Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on March 17, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on March 18, 2014:
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to the Adult Green River Probation and Parole Office, in regards to an agency assist. Officers contacted Justin Beatty, age 28, who was arrested per an active Arrest and Hold Order for a probation violation.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to an accidental damage. It was reported the wind blew a cargo trailer into a parked and unoccupied vehicle.
Jacob Willey, age 33, was arrested per an active Sweetwater County Warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of No Insurance, No Driver’s License and Unlawful Sunscreen Device.
Officers completed VIN Inspections at the Green River Police Department and an address on Pennsylvania Boulevard.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Alamosa Circle, in reference to a traffic hazard.
Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, in regards to a report of a suspected drug call. It was reported a juvenile was in possession of drug paraphernalia with residue of marijuana.
Officers were dispatched to a crosswalk on Monroe Avenue, in reference two separate reports of vehicles passing through the crosswalk.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East 5th South, in regards to a 911 hang up call. Officers determined the call was a juvenile playing on the phone.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Mansface Street.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of a violation of a protection order. Officers spoke with the reporting party and completed a report of the incident.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a hit and run crash. It was reported a parked and unoccupied vehicle sustained damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle by an unknown vehicle.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Hackberry Street.
Officers responded to an address on Tennessee Drive, in reference to a noise complaint.
