Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on March 13, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on March 14, 2014:
Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding a juvenile problem.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilkes Drive, in regards to a civil issue involving child custody.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers determined the call was accidental.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a report of a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive in reference a domestic dispute that occurred the previous day. Officers contacted parties involved and completed a report of the incident. While at the address on Uinta Drive, Officers also located drug paraphernalia.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Juniper Street, in reference to an auto burglary. Upon arrival, Officers completed a report in which a firearm was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Officers responded to the area of Logan Street, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. Officers spoke with juveniles who were reportedly shooting each other with airsoft toy guns.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Darrell Gilson, age 41, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and Use of/or Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Commerce Way, in reference to a report of a traffic complaint.
Officers responded to an address off Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a civil issue.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the resident where the noise reportedly came from.
Officers were dispatched to Telephone Canyon Road regarding a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers determined everything was okay and the call was accidental.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a possible runaway. Upon further investigation, it was determined the juvenile snuck out of the residence, was located and returned home.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Crossbow Drive, in reference to a report of a possible fight. Upon arrival, Officers contacted parties involved and determined a verbal dispute had occurred. Jacob Doak, age 25, was arrested for Public Intoxication.
