Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 25, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 26, 2014:
Officers responded to a location on Bridger Drive, in reference to a citizen assist. The resident had questions about city ordinances.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department lobby and at addresses on: North 5th East, Jensen Street, East Teton Boulevard, and Windriver Drive.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hopi Circle, in reference to a fire alarm. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the homeowner who was in the process of cancelling the alarm call. Everything was reported to be okay.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, in regards to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to the area of Bridger Drive, in reference to a REDDI report.
Animal Control Officers responded to an animal call at an address on Upland Way.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on Uinta Drive.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of a larceny. The business reported a subject took fuel without paying.
Officers responded to an address on Windriver Drive, regarding civil questions about property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilson Street, in reference to a civil matter.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a report of a larceny.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to an alarm.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Iowa Avenue, in regards to a report of nuisance property. Officers spoke with the resident and completed a report.
Officers responded to the Green River Adult Probation and Parole Office, in reference to an agency assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a citizen assist regarding the testing of an alarm.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Hitching Post Drive.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Uinta Drive.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Virginia Street, in regards to a report of a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to an alarm. Officers checked the area and advised everything appeared okay.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Nebraska Street, regarding suspicious activity. The reporting party heard noises outside and believed property may have been damaged. Officers contacted the resident, checked the area and found no property damage.
Officers responded to an address on Windriver Drive, in reference to a verbal dispute.
