Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 21, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 22, 2014:

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Mansface Street.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, in regards to a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Jefferson Street, in reference a cat in a trap.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Idaho Street in reference to a report of found suspected narcotics.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South Wagonwheel Drive, in regards to a dog at large call. Animal Control Officers located the animal and a citation was issued to the animal’s owner.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard in reference to a civil matter, in reference to child custody.

Officers took a report of an attempted scam at an address on Homestead Drive. The reporting party responded to an employment ad, and communications were to be done via e-mail. The future employer wanted to mail items to the reporting party. The reporting party ended communication and did not report any personal loss from the incident.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding a report of threats. A trespass warning was issued to an individual for the property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Colorado Drive, in reference to a report of two dogs at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilson Street, regarding a welfare check. Officers contacted the resident and determined everything was okay.

Officers assisted Wyoming Department of Family Services at an address on Cumorah Way.

Officers took a report of a hit and run vehicle crash at an address on Hitching Post Drive.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of a hit and run vehicle crash and a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival, Officers contacted parties involved completing reports of the incident and issued a trespass warning to two individuals for the property.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a scam. The victim reported they received a phone call from an individual who claimed they had a note left on their vehicle by the victim. The victim advised they had been in no such accident and did not provide the caller with any information.

Officers responded to an address on Fir Street, in reference to a report of suspicious persons. Upon arrival, Officers determined an individual accidentally parked in the wrong driveway.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a dog at large call.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Bramwell Street, in reference to a welfare check. Officers contacted an individual at the residence and determined everything was okay.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Faith Drive, in reference to a report of a burglary.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the resident who was transported to the hospital by Castle Rock Ambulance Service.

Officers responded to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in regards to a report of vandalism to a building.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 22, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 23, 2014:

Officers were dispatched to an address on Maryland Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.

Officer responded to an address on West 3rd North, in regards to a parking complaint. Officers tagged a towed vehicle for 72 hour parking.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Hillcrest Way, in regards to a deer caught in a fence.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to an address on South 2nd East, in reference to a report of vandalism. Officers completed a report regarding spray paint damage to property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a location on Scott’s Bottom Road, in regards to a found ferret.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Cumorah Way, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to the area of the green belt behind Iowa Circle, in reference to a juvenile problem.

Officers responded to Astle Avenue, in reference to a two vehicle crash. Officers completed a report and one driver was issued a citation for Inattentive Driving.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a citizen assist.

Christopher Carmine, age 25, was arrested per an active Sweetwater County Warrant for Failure to Pay on original charges of: Reckless Driving, Driving While Under Suspension, Colliding with an Unattended Vehicle and Compulsory Auto Insurance.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Fawn Circle, in reference to an alarm.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of a hit and run vehicle crash. It was reported the vehicle stuck an object and left the area.

Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a report of Underage Consumption of Alcohol.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Alabama Street, in reference to a traffic complaint.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a citizen assist.


The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 23, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 24, 2014:

Officers were dispatched to an address on Sunset Street, in reference to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle and reported everything to be okay.

Officers responded to Stratton Myers Park, in reference to a motorist assist.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Maryland Drive, in regards to a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a found dog.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department for a citizen assist.

Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Cumorah Way, in reference to a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Clark Street, in regards to an animal call.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Bramwell Street, in reference to suspicious activity. A witness reported seeing someone climb through a window at the residence. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the individual who lives at the residence and advised everything was okay.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Hillcrest Way, in regards to a noise complaint of fireworks.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a found pitbull puppy.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the individual who advised he was just waiting for the business to open.
