Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 7, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 8, 2014:
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Bramwell Street.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on East 2nd North, Kentucky Street, and East Flaming Gorge Way.
Officers were dispatched to the Green River Adult Probation and Parole Office in reference to an agency assist. Lilienita Osborn, age 22, was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a probation violation on an original charge of Check Fraud.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of East 4th South, regarding a report of a dog at large.
Officers took a report of property destruction at an address on Monroe Avenue. It was reported windows in the building were damaged possibly by bb’s or pellets.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Medicine Bow Drive, in reference to a report of property destruction. Upon arrival, Officers were made aware of damage to the exterior walls of the building.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, regarding a verbal dispute.
Officers assisted a motorist at Hitching Post Drive and Monroe Avenue.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Missouri Court, regarding a verbal dispute.
Officers were dispatched to an address on North 1st West, in reference to a parking complaint.
Officers responded to an address on East 2nd North, regarding a verbal dispute.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Railroad Avenue, in reference to a traffic complaint.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Wilderness Trail. The patient refused transport to the hospital by ambulance.
Officers were dispatched to the area of West Teton Boulevard and Monroe Avenue, in reference to a juvenile problem. Upon arrival, Offices contacted juveniles who were out playing late at night. Two juveniles were returned to their parents and a report completed.
While patrolling in the residential area of Wilkes Drive, Officers located a hit and run crash, where a vehicle caused damage to a residential property. Officers located the suspect vehicle and Andrew Martinez II, age 22, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for Hit and Run Unattended Property and Reckless Driving.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West 2nd South, regarding a verbal dispute.
Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a vehicle crash. A driver struck three parked and unoccupied vehicles. The driver was issued a citation for Inattentive Driving.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 8, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 9, 2014:
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Wilderness Trail.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Washington Street, regarding a civil standby regarding property.
Officers responded to an address on Maryland Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Evers Street.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Mansface Street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East 4th South, in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the individual and Castle Rock Ambulance personnel responded to the area to assist.
Officers checked on an abandoned vehicle on Highway 530 just south of Green River.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, regarding a violation of a protection order.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Schultz Street, regarding a report of two dogs at large.
Officers responded to an address on Bramwell Street, in reference to lost or stolen property. While at the residence the reported missing item was located.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Railroad Avenue, regarding a report of a disturbance. Mario Martinez, age 39, was arrested for Public Intoxication.
Officers responded to the area of Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a REDDI report.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 9, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 10, 2014:
Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a parking complaint. Upon arrival, Officers tagged a vehicle regarding the parking complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Maryland Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Jefferson Street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Cumorah Way, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to an agency assist of a reported missing person out of Evanston.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding a business alarm. Upon arrival, Officers determined the alarm was in reference to a report of shoplifting.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a found property. The owner was contacted and the property returned.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of a suspicious phone call.
