Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on January 20, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on January 21, 2014:

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Indian Hills Drive.

Officers assisted another agency at an address on Monroe Ave.

Officers responded to an address on Nevada Place in reference to a civil standby in regards to property issues.

Officers transported an inmate from the Sweetwater County Detention Center to the Green River Municipal Court.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a civil standby in regards to a custody exchange.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a gas skip.

Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of an abandoned vehicle.

Officers responded to the area of California Drive in reference to a report of parking problems.

Officers responded to an address on Elm Street in reference to a welfare check. Contact was made at the address and everything was okay.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Easy Street in reference to an animal call. It was reported a dog was at large and chasing deer. Animal Control Officers spoke with the owner of the dog.

Officers completed a VIN inspection at an address on Nolan Street.

Officers responded to the area of the Horse Corrals on East Teton Boulevard in reference to a suspicious person.

Officers responded to an address on Virginia Drive in reference to an agency assist.

Officers took a report of a hit and run vehicle crash that was reported to have happened at Expedition Island.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a dog at large call.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Logan Street.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Illinois Court in reference to a barking dog complaint.

Officers responded to the area of Hitching Post Drive near Upland Way in reference to a traffic hazard.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a two vehicle crash. It was reported one vehicle backed into another vehicle.

Officers responded to an address on Upland Way in reference to a welfare check and answered questions regarding a previously reported civil issue.

Officers responded to an address on Fox Hills Drive in reference to a juvenile problem.

Officers responded to an address on Wind River Drive in reference to a report of suspicious persons going door to door trying to raise money.

Officers responded to an address on Wilson Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers completed a report in regards to a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to an address on Cedar Street in reference to a barking dog complaint. The owner was made aware of the complaint and the dogs were brought inside the residence.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a citizen assist. Officers completed an information report.
