The following events were reported on November 1, 2013:
Officers responded to an address on Shoshone Avenue, in reference to a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Jefferson Street, regarding a dog at large.
Officers investigated a report of an abandoned vehicle parked on East Teton Boulevard, the vehicle was tagged and Officers will follow up on the case in five (5) days.
Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a civil matter.
Officers were dispatched to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to an address on Clark Street, in reference to a male possibly having a heart attack.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Trail Drive, regarding a report of a missing person. Upon arrival, Officers learned that an elderly male had left the residence very early and had not returned. The elderly male was located by Officers, by McDonald’s restaurant; the male was given a ride back home.
Officers responded to Adult Probation and Parole, in reference to an agency assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Commerce Drive, regarding a report of suspicious circumstances.
Officers responded to an address on Wilson Street, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Officer located a husband and wife fighting, parties were separated and the male left the residence.
Officers responded to an address on Easy Street, regarding a paper service.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bramwell Street, in reference to a custody dispute.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, regarding a parking complaint.
Officers performed numerous VIN checks at addresses on South 5th East Street, Powell Street and at the Police Department.
The following events were reported on November 2, 2013:
Officers provided a funeral escort, from an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, to the Riverview Cemetery.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a verbal domestic.
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a verbal domestic and larceny of prescription medication.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on Cedar Circle, in reference to an elderly female that was very ill.
Officers responded to an address on Hillcrest Way, regarding a possible phone scam.
Officers were conducting follow up on a parking complaint from the week before, at an address on Trona Drive. While on scene, Officers issued a citation to the registered owner of the vehicle in question.
Officers responded to the Police Department parking lot, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to an address on Hillcrest Way, regarding a report of found drug paraphernalia.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Aspen Street, in reference to a juvenile problem.
Officers responded to an apartment on Bridger Drive, regarding a report of threats. A report was written documenting the event.
Officers were dispatched to an address on North 5th West, in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, regarding a parking complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Anvil Drive, in reference to a dispute between the landlord and the tenant. Both parties were advised.
Officers assisted a subject on Hackberry Street, regarding questions about a juvenile problem.
Officers responded to an address on Mansface Street, in reference to a neighbor dispute.
The following events were reported on November 3, 2013:
Officers were dispatched to the area of East Teton Boulevard and Bridger Drive, regarding a possible gun shot that was heard. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the source of the noise.
Officers responded to an address on Jefferson Street, in reference to a possible prowler. Officers were unable to locate anybody near the residence, upon arrival.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Jensen Street, regarding a physical fight. Upon arrival, Officers separated the parties and it was determined that the male that started the fight, was extremely intoxicated and was attempting to leave the residence with his small children. The parties were separated for the night.
On Sunday, November 3, 2013, Officers of the Green River Police Department were dispatched to the area of the Union Pacific Railroad overpass, which crosses over the Green River at the south side of North 4th West. Union Pacific Railroad employees reported that a group of transients were camping underneath the overpass and they had tied one of their dogs to the railroad track, to keep the dog from running away. As a train was passing over the track, the train struck and killed the dog, which had no way to escape. After this occurred, the UPRR called to report the transients to the Police Department. The UPRR wanted the transients issued trespass warnings and wanted them removed from the UPRR property. Officers responded to the overpass and located the group on the south side of the river. Officers noted that the group was in violation of the following City Ordinances: Camping in City Limits, Open Container, Public Intoxication, Open fire in City Limits, Trespassing, no City Dog tags and no proof of dog vaccinations. The group was advised that they needed to vacate the Union Pacific property immediately.
Officers responded back to the address on Jensen Street, from earlier in the evening, to conduct a civil standby.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Ironwood Street, in reference to a dog at large.
Animal Control Officer responded to an address on Crossbow Drive, regarding a vicious animal call.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Easy Street, in reference to a dog at large.
Officers responded to an address on South Riverbend Drive, regarding a report of assault, to a juvenile. This case is currently being investigated by the Green River Police Department’s Detective Division.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on Riverview Drive, in reference to a juvenile female that had fallen off her bike and struck her head.
Officers responded to an address on Apache Avenue, regarding an abandoned 911 call. It was determined that the call was accidental.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Birch Street, in reference to an abandoned 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers discovered the call was accidental.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on New Hampshire Street, regarding a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on North Wagonwheel, in reference to a civil standby.
Officers responded to the area of Bridger Drive and East Teton Boulevard, regarding a report of possible shots fired. Officers were unable to locate the source of the noise, during their investigation.
